How to be Loved by Engineer Ibanez (On-going)

Prologue

"Why do I need to come with you? It's not even on my bucket list to go there. Ano bang maganda sa Pangasinan?"  

I know her. She's willing to take risk. It's been 5 years since she had this on and off relationship with Vincent and now, here we are, planning to have some fun in Pangasinan instead of enjoying the view in Boracay.

Well, for those who we're interested on looking someone who can loved them unconditionally without properly introducing yourselves as who you are, where have you been and what's your real name, you can at least make a Role Play Account which you can be able to meet someone who's name wasn't truly owned by you.

This cousins of mine, actually meet her boyfriend through role play world. So thats how he meet him. 2 years talking on fake or dump account until they decided to continue their relationship seriously.

I sat in bed and looked at my cousin's face. "You meet a lot of boys in Manila, meron ka ring AFAM na nakilala sa Boracay tapos sa Pangasinan rin pala ang bagsak mo?"

She laughed. "Wala akong pinipiling lahi. All I did was to follow my heart."

Kung dukutin ko kaya 'yong puso nito sa katawan niya. Masusundan pa kaya niya 'yong pag-ibig na sinasabi nito.

"If I know, tigang ka lang." I answered her. "Follow your heart. Hindi na uso yan ngayon. Ulol. Hindi niyo naman minahal 'yong isa't isa no'ng una e. Remember, you started your relationship in role play world tapos ngayon pupunta tayo ng Pangasinan?" I added.

"Totoo naman 'yong sinabi ko. Hindi mo ba talaga ako susuportahan? Come on M. Ngayon lang naman eh."

Susuportahan ko naman siya sa lahat ng bagay pero lagpas 2k na 'yong ginastos ko dito sa Boracay tapos ni overnight hindi ko man lang ma-eenjoy. Pambihira.

"Ilang araw naman tayo do'n? Dalawa? Tatlo? o Apat?" sunod-sunod na tanong ko.

She smiled. "1 month."

"Ano?! Pisteng pag-ibig yan. Hello. 2024 na ngayon, wala ng tagpi-pisong kendi. Hanggang saan naman aabot 'tong 15k ko sa loob ng isang buwan?"

"Ako na nga 'yong bahala do'n M. Wala ka ng problema."

" Talaga?" I smiled. I know she's true to her words but I want to pissed her off. "Lahat ng wants and needs ko, sagot mo?"

"Lahat ng NEEDS mo." sagot nito na may pagdidiin sa salitang needs.

Ngumiwi ako. "Maraming AFAM dito, kaya dito na lang ako."

Hindi naman talaga ako papayag na mag-isa lang aalis si Ireña pero ayoko talagang pumunta ng Pangasinan. Ba't kasi hindi na lang si Vincent 'yong pumunta ng Antique.

"Gaga. Sasama ka sakin at aalis tayo, ngayon din. My reklamo ka pa ba?"

"Well, una sa lahat, hindi ako mayaman. Pangalawa, muntikan ko ng mabingwit kanina 'yong AFAM na blue eyes pero hinila mo lang ako para sabihin na aalis na naman tayo papuntang Pangasinan kahit na kakarating palang natin ng Boracay. Pangatlo, alam kung tarantado ako pero h'wag ka namang patumpik-tumpik ng desisyon. Hindi porket tagapagmana ka ng isang kompanya', wawaldas na tayo ng pera. Hanggang saan aabot itong 15k ko? Baka bukas pag nando'n na tayo ng Pangasinan, another location na naman. Ayoko."

"Sabing ako na bahala sa ibang expenses natin basta samahan mo lang ako do'n." ngumiti siya. "Please, mayaman ka naman e."

Anong mayaman pinagsasasabi nito. Ni piso wala nga akong ambag sa income ng business namin tapos sasabihin niya lang na mayaman ako.

" Bakit kaya hindi mo na lang sabihin kay Vincent na siya na 'yong pumunta ng Antique? Duh! We also have white islands here.  Pwedeng-pwede tayong gumala do'n." I smiled. "We can go to Mararison Island, Sico Island, Caluya or kahit sa falls. We also have a lot of tourist spots here."

"Ayaw nga niya e." Ngumiwi ito. "Hindi ko alam, siguro hindi pa niya afford ang papunta dito."

Pambihira.

"Edi umayaw ka rin. Aba! H'wag kang magpatalo." I looked at her. "Ayoko talaga. Walang AFAM na Engineer do'n." I added.

"Meron. Imposibleng wala." she pouted. "At kilalang kilala mo."

"Wala." I answered.

"Meron, kaya sige na naman oh. Please."

I looked at him. "Wala. Ni-research ko, walang lumabas."

Hindi naman na talaga ako interesado sa mga lalaki pero feeling ko, kilala ko talaga 'tong Engr na tinutukoy niya.

Actually, I guess it was year 2020 when her boyfriend introduce one of his friends on us which is single nga raw and then his ready for commitment.

And of course, as a strong malandi person, I grab the opportunity. That guy was so cool. He knows how to play guitar and he's a fun of singing and dancing ...just like me.

I didn't want to know him better but one thing I regret the most is I give him assurance that we can be together. At first, okay naman kami not until I heard on one of their friends na meron na raw siyang girlfriend at doon na rin raw ito natutulog sa bahay nila.

Imagine, we we're talking everyday and night but still I haven't noticed how he ended-up to have a girlfriend while talking to me. Sabagay, hindi ko rin naman siya masisisi. That girl was beautiful.

Hays.

Well, to make the long story short, we didn't make it as a couple. Ang galing.

"Well, I knew their will be a lot of Engr in Pangasinan but I don't care. Boys in Pangasinan well always be red flag to me." I replied.

Ireña rolled her eyes on me. I know she get my point. Well, hindi ko naman siya masisisi if she really wanted to go in Pangasinan and to spend time with Vincent. She knew that her boyfriend is also a walking redflag and I don't want her to forget that. 

"Gusto ko ng new environment. Ayoko na sa Antique. Sawang-sawa na akong lumanghap ng hangin dito." pag-iiba nito ng usapan.

"Edi utot ko na lang 'yong langhapin mo. Atsaka walang Engineer do'n. Masisira lang 'yong pangarap kung mag-asawa ng Engineer". pang-aasar ko.

"Meron and also, you haven't personally met Paulo yet." she smiled. "Remember, the guy who stole your heart. He's an Engineer now"

I rolled my eyes on her.

I don't know but I always had this dream that I am gonna marry an Engineer but too bad for me since the guy who cheated and stole my heart took engineering during his college days and pass the examinations.

Damn that man.

He already break my heart before and he eventually ripped it into pieces when he became an Engineer.

"I didn't dream of meeting him. It's been years since we stopped talking with each other. I met him online so basically, he didn't stole my heart. I just let him borrow my heart ....... for months." I signed. "Gano'n lang 'yon. "
