As they rode home, the father's mind raced with questions. What just happened? Was it real or a hallucination? He glanced at his daughter, who seemed oblivious to the strange encounter.

"Daddy, I'm hungry," she said, breaking the silence.

"Okay, baby. We'll get some food soon," he replied, forcing a smile.

At home, he tried to shake off the feeling of unease. But the image of the driver's creepy smile lingered.

That night, as he tucked his daughter into bed, she looked up at him with an unsettling intensity.

"Daddy?"

"Yes, baby?"

"I saw something," she whispered.

"What was it?" he asked, his heart racing.

"The van. It was following us. And the driver... he was waving at me."

His pupils shrank. What did she see? Was it real?

"Just a dream, baby. Go to sleep."

But as he left her room, he couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off.

The next day, he decided to investigate.
