Why did killer did this?

As time starts to come to an end. digraj try to threaten him to leave all people alone but everyone can see that he is clearly failing.
Baljeet, Maria but they too are only failing.

Nobody can believe that one of CBI finest team are failing to crack this case.

Tension on Nikhil face starts showing a lot and when 5 mins was just going to end he says " save those two people".

Everyone was shocked because they were already convinced that he will choose his niece.

In the ongoing camera a masked man comes and gives the poison. the girl dies on camera.

After few minutes CBI was send the location of girl's dead body.
Every body is grieving. Digraj sir is trying to calm Nikhil .

CBI started to reinvestigation of every lead they ever got.
They investigate the location of Nikhil's niece death. CBI was working in its full potential.

That's when they got a face captured in the cctv which was near the location.

Maria showed the pic to Digraj and Nikhil. They instantly recognised the person.

Few years ago.
Digraj and Nikhil worked together in a case. A person was found dead. They also captured the killer and he confessed easily in the custody.
But they didn't have any evidence.

So Digraj tempered the evidences to make him killer.
Nikhil objected to the idea but didn't took any actions.

They understood that he is doing everything to take revenge from Digraj and Nikhil.

In the next few days, killer didn't do anything.
Then suddenly Rajesh disappeared and his details was also send.
But this time a location was also send.

All CBI officer with trained police officers reached there.
They saw that Rajesh was cuffed to a chair and is held at gunpoint.
Killer was holding gun while voice (person who kiddnaped yami and Nikhil) was pointing his gun at Rajesh head.

As Digraj asks him" why are you doing this, if you have to take revenge why didn't you take it from me.why them?"

Killer Said " I am taking revenge from you only, see yourself how guilty you are feeling about everybody's death and guilt is worse than death"

What will killer's next step?? What will he do? Will he be caught? I will publish next part soon.
