chapter 11(Akira-pov)

Akira carlos!!!
The host called out my name on stage. I take a deep breath and move onto the stage. As I watched, my parents were seated with Alex in the third row. My already rapid heartbeat became even faster. I took my place and tried to calm myself before the music began. I began to move in time with the melody. Throughout my life, dancing has been a source of happiness, solace from the outside world, and solace from my hardships.

I haven't danced in such a long time. I was dancing my heart out today because the sensation of dance ignited the fire within of me which I've been missing for so long. Even if my life has been chaotic, dancing has always been my way to revisit moments that were buried in my distant reflections. However, today is a new day when I feel enthusiastic about life.

I kept dancing and finished with a spin. After my dance, I was giddy with excitement, restlessness, and happiness. I assumed I had done something incorrectly when the audience fell silent, but a moment later, I heard roaring cheers for me. I had goosebumps and almost started to cry, but I forced myself to stop, bent my head, and left for backstage.

I went to the backstage area and spotted Jay. He gave me a hug and gave me compliments. However, he paused mid-sentence and fixed his gaze on something. I turned to see what he was staring at, but as soon as I did, I smelt vanilla and cinnamon scents. I heard Leo say "mate" and froze at what I saw.He hasn't spoken to me in such a long time. I don't know why, but I started to run away from my mate because the feeling of being scared and insecure surrged powerfully in my whole body.so I ran far and far away from him.

While I ran, I wept. only if I was average, only if my life was incredibly laid back? If only I truly understood who I am? Such a lovely mate is someone I could have accepted. But do I really deserve him? No. Even though my heart was bleeding so much, I thought that maybe he would still accept me. Running, I realised that I had left my mate far behind and had entered a dense woods area.

After a few minutes of stumbling around, I discovered a nearby pond. Observing my own reflection, I took a seat next to the pond.I was blessed with a lot of individuals who complimented me on my beauty throughout my life, but they were unaware of the price my beauty had to pay. What was it about beauty that always drew me in and made me feel unsafe? I never felt worthy because of my beauty. No one saw me broken; everyone was focused on my attractiveness.

I let out a sigh and recalled that I had spoken with Leo today. I attempted to mindlink Leo, but no response was received. A few minutes earlier, he was speaking. What happened again? I heard some suffling in the close by bushes while I was lost in my own thoughts.

As I rose from my seat and made my way over to the bushes, I noticed a toddler. A youngster? How might a youngster be in the woods by themselves? I knew there was a problem when I reached out to the child because he seemed strange. Although he appears young, he may not be. I began to move away from him. Perhaps realising that I was leaving him behind, he transformed into a pallid adult and came sprinting in my direction.

I started to run too, but then I saw that there were humans in black cloaks all around me. Indeed, those are! They are the same ones that attacked my old pack in the past.
Despite being encircled by those beasts, I managed to find an opening and began sprinting; they followed along, with one of them changing into a wolf. A wolf? However, they are not wolves since they have three fucking eyes. I accelerated my running because I was pancking. The wolf approached me and leaped on me while I was running. I was attempting to resist him, but he was thrown off me the next minute.

It's a wolf in black.I smelt that old familiar scent. My mate? He was enormous-possibly even larger than all the creatures present here.I followed his instructions after he gestured with his eyes for me to keep behind him. I witnessed him engaging in ferocious combat with those animals from behind. He has such strength. I recoiled at the sight of him ripping off one of those creatures' guts.

Nearly all of the creatures had fallen. I was attacked by the child-like thing when I became engrossed in the scene. I struggled with him until I was able to escape his trap. He abruptly changed into the same wolf-like being from earlier.

I heard Leo respond, "Yes, I will, sorry for the wait," as I began to battle him and try to mindlink my wolf to come out.In an instant, I transformed into a wolf and engaged in combat. I kept slamming the beast down, and it kept getting gure and gure. He stood up to attack me once again, but before I could strike, my pendant glowed brightly, and the creature began to slowly fade away like ashes.

My pendant's dazzling light was so intense that it made me feel lightheaded. Then I passed out on the ground for the next minute, and the last thing I saw was my mate coming my way.
