Let's continue......

With a deep breath, Ruhani again left for the hospital, her mind clear and focused on the surgery ahead. Little did she knows that Abheek waking up will set off a chain of events that would change their lives forever.

After reaching hospital Ruhani approached Abheek's room, but as she reached the door, she saw his family was allready inside. She could hear the murmur of their voice, the sounds of tears and laughing mingling together. She hesitated for a moment, not wanting to intrude in their private moment. Thinking better of it, she decided to give them space and didn't want to disturb their family time, especially after everything they had been through.

She turned around and headed toward her cabin instead.

After entering her cabin instead.

After entering her cabin, she took deep breaths collecting her thoughts. The surgery was about to start and she needed to focus.

She changed into her scrubs, washed her hands and began to mentally prepare herself for the complex procedure ahead.

Just as she was about to leave for the OT, her phone buzzed. It was text from her senior doctor reminding her to review the patient's file one last time before they began. She quickly scanned the file, with a final nod she closed the file and headed out of her cabin ready to face whatever challenges that surgery might bring.

On the other hand, Abheek eyes flutter open, his gaze blurry at first. As his vision cleared he saw a group of similar faces surrounding him.

His dadu, dadi, brother and sisters were all standing their, their faces etched with worry and concern.

Dadu.....dadi......
Abheek whispered, his voice weak but filled with affection.

His grandparents faces creasing into smiles.

Beta, thank God you are safe now. My bachha had to suffer a lot. His dadi said with happy tears.

While Abeer smile broadly, relief written across his face.
Bhai, we were so worried about you. How are you feeling now?

Abeekh tried to speak but his voice was hoarse from disuse. He cleared his throat trying again.
Now I am feeling better, so don't worry.

His sisters Teaha and kusha looked at each other nervously, their eyes wet with unshed tears.

You were in accident Bhai, Teaha said her voice trembling.

But you are going to be okay. You are safe now, kusha added.

Then, why you both are crying. Said Abheek listening to his sisters and tried to sit to console them but he was not able to sit as he was not healed yet.

Abeer rushed to his side helping him in sitting. Their sisters Teaha and kusha joined in, and soon Abheek was surrounded by his loved ones but at some point his heart craved for his mother and father love. He was still not able to believe that how his father changed that much after his mother death that he himself, his son was not able to recognise his own father.

As his family hugged him tears of joy and relief streaming down their faces, Abheek felt a mix of emotions. He was touched by their concern, but also felt a pang of guilt for putting them through such worry.
