James' POV

Today started the same way it does every single day. I woke up at 8:30am and snoozed my alarm three times despite already being awake. I checked my phone to see three texts from Will. Shit, I forgot we were filming today. I love filming videos with Will. He hates the fact that every video with my face in it gets so many views. I mean, his entire top ten are videos with ME in them.

Will: I paid for your train ticket.
Will: Bitch.
Will: It's literally in an hour, if you miss it i'm doing the video without you.

My brain reels for a reply until I settle on:

James: You won't bang as many views if I'm not there. I'm omw pookie🤞

I laugh to myself as I imagine the way he would roll his eyes at that. He hates the nickname pookie. All of the comments noticed it ages ago.

"Will hatessss that 2:31"
"I don't know how Will puts up with that"
"Tbh I don't know how I feel about the whole 'pookie' thing :/"

I try not to let it bother me. I mean, people watch the videos. But the hate comments have been so high since I got back from Australia. Whatever. I get out of bed and throw on a stupid outfit that I don't care all that much about. Jeans, docs, and a white jumper. My hair is a mess as always but as long as I don't smell I don't care. I have a train to catch.

Brighton is so gorgeous. I love walking to the train station. I hate the train if I'm gonna be honest, it's just a long journey for no reason. But it's sort of worth it since I end up seeing Will in the end. The videos are usually fun, plus it's a free train ride so I try not to be ungrateful. And the sights of Brighton sea as I go getting further and further toward the horizon is a pretty sight. I love the environment I live in. Unfortunately I don't even have time to get a coffee on the way, so I text Will quickly to pick some up.

James: Can you get me some coffee..?
Will: Who do you think you are?
James: Pwease?🥺
Will: ... brother
James: I'm sorry!!
James: ..Seriously please though.
Will: Yep

I laugh slightly under my breath and tuck my phone away. In a couple of hours, things will be okay again.
