The morning sunlight filtered gently through the curtains, casting a soft, golden glow on Seraphina's room. Seraphina stirred, her body comfortably nestled against Valeria's. She blinked her eyes open and turned her head slightly to see Valeria already awake, watching her with an amused smile.
"Good morning," Valeria murmured, her voice low and teasing. "You look rather cute when you're asleep."
Seraphina smirked, shifting slightly to press closer to her. "And you look far too smug for someone who's been staring at me."
Valeria chuckled softly, her fingers brushing a strand of Seraphina's hair away from her face. "Can you blame me? You're irresistible."
A playful glint danced in Seraphina's eyes as she leaned forward, their noses brushing. "Irresistible, huh?" she whispered, her lips barely grazing Valeria's.
Valeria closed the small distance between them, pressing a soft kiss on Seraphina's lips, lingering just enough to make Seraphina's heart race. "Completely," Valeria whispered against her lips.
Seraphina's hand slid down Valeria's arm, her fingertips brushing lightly over her skin. "Maybe you're the one who's irresistible," Seraphina replied, her voice low and playful. "I've seen how you look at me."
Valeria laughed softly, her hand gently cupping Seraphina's cheek. "If that's the case, I'm guilty as charged."
Seraphina shifted, turning onto her side to face Valeria fully, her leg casually draped over Valeria's as she allowed herself to enjoy the closeness. "I like this," Seraphina admitted, her voice softer now, her gaze locked with Valeria's. "Just... us."
Valeria's eyes softened, her hand tracing lazy patterns on Seraphina's arm. "Me too," she whispered before placing another delicate kiss on Seraphina's lips, a little firmer this time, more assured.
The two stayed like that for a moment, caught up in the warmth of each other. Seraphina felt a rare sense of peace wash over her. Being with Valeria was different, easy, but at the same time, exciting. Their light touches turned into playful nudges, and every shared glance carried unspoken promises.
"Maybe we should skip the day and stay here," Valeria suggested, her voice mischievous, her hand slipping under the blanket to trail her fingers down Seraphina's back.
Seraphina chuckled, rolling her eyes but clearly tempted. "You're trouble, you know that?" she teased, but her hand slid to rest on Valeria's waist, pulling her even closer.
"I'm your kind of trouble," Valeria whispered in response, her lips finding Seraphina's again, this time with a little more hunger behind the kiss.
They stayed entwined like that for a while, enjoying each other's touch, the safety of the moment, and the growing feelings that neither of them could fully deny anymore.
Seraphina and Valeria made their way downstairs, still wrapped in the comfort of the morning. The sun was bright in the kitchen, spilling golden light across the counters. Seraphina had insisted on cooking something simple, and as she started gathering ingredients, Valeria stayed close, her arms draping around Seraphina's waist, her chin resting on Seraphina's shoulder.
"You always seem to know your way around a kitchen," Valeria murmured, placing a soft kiss on the side of Seraphina's neck.
Seraphina chuckled, her hand pausing over the stove for a moment. "There are many things I know how to do. Cooking just happens to be one of them."
Valeria hummed in amusement, her fingers tracing small circles along Seraphina's side, keeping her close. "It's hard to focus on anything when you're so... distracting."
