Chapter 23 A Mother's Plea

Nkosenye and Sithembiso couldn't stand what he was doing to those men and forcefully escorted Bandile to their parents' home, his resistance worn down by exhaustion. Their mother Mam'Sisanda, greeted them with worried eyes, tears welling up.

Mam'Sisanda rushed to Bandile, embracing him tightly.

Bandile ngane yami kwenzakalani ngawe?" Mam'Sisanda asked, tears welling up.

His brothers, struggled to restrain him. Their father,Bab'Zulu, intervened.

Bab'Zulu guided Bandile to a chair, his expression stern yet compassionate.

Bab'Zulu's expression softened.

"We're following leads, Bandile. We'll find out who took her." I promise. We're doing everything we can."

Bandile's response was a cold, mirthless laugh.

"Everything? You call this everything?"

Mam'Sisanda intervened, her voice trembling. "Bandile, please. You're breaking our hearts."See the pain you're causing?"

Bandile's gaze lifted, meeting his mother's tears. For a moment, his resolve wavered.

Ngiyaxolisa, Mma. Kodwa ngeke ngikwazi, I won't stop until Amahle's home."

But his determination hardened. He would stop at nothing to find Amahle.
