Elaina gasped awake in the middle of the night, something told her to go check on Elena, so she immediately lifted the duvet and got out of bed. "Hello?" She asked walking out her room towards Elena's room. "Elena?" She called out, walking into Elena's room to see it empty.

She furrowed her brows but then decided to lean over the staircase rail. "Elena?" She called out again, she heard the board creak and a shadow pass by, she sighed. "Elena, I swear if you're joking..." She mumbled as she walked downstairs.

"Elena?" She called out again as she got to the living room she turned the light switch on but the lights wasn't coming on she looked up at the lights confusion written all over her face. "This is Logan Fell coming to you live from the streets of Mystic Falls with breaking news of another deadly animal attack." She heard from the tv so she walked around the dining table and towards the living room to see the Tv on.

"The wild animal terrorizing citizens of Mystic Falls has claimed another victim local high school students, Elaina & Elena Gilbert." They showed a picture of them smiling an old one, with their name spelt out ELAINA & ELENA GILBERT with found dead under it. "Police are certain that evidence will confirm that this is the same animal responsible for recent attacks." Elaina then heard someone groan, she walked around the couch and saw Elena unconscious a bite mark on her neck, she gasped and ran to her. "Elena? Oh, my God." She cried out.

She then went to grab a phone. "You know what's coming next." She heard somebody whisper behind her, she gasped and turned around to see Damon, she dropped the phone and ran towards the front door she opened it, and was met with Damon, she screamed, and slammed the door, she then saw him in the hall, she screamed and ran upstairs, but Damon grabbed her hair pulling her down roughly and bit into her neck, making her yell out a blood curling scream.

Stefan gasped awake and saw Damon playing chess in his room. "Bad dream?" Damon asked as Stefan was still catching his breath. "Do you know how easy it was to get into your head just now?" Damon asked and smacked his tongue while shaking his head as he looked back at Stefan.

"You really need some human blood. It might even the playing field." Damon said smirking looking back down as Stefan sent him a glare he semi shrugged and raised his eyebrows. "Football reference." Damon said, he didn't get a reply. "Too soon?" He asked.

Stefan vamped towards his desk grabbing a knife and throwing it at Damon making it hit his side, Damon looked down at it and stood up, he pulled it out and held it up with a shrug. "Alright, I deserve that. But I just want to let you know, they caught the culprit. The animal responsible for killing Coach Tanner and all those people." Damon said with a fake sympathetic look.

"What are you talking about?" Stefan asked with furrowed brows and his voice slightly rough from him just now waking up.

"It was a mountain lion. A really big one." Damon exclaimed stretching his hands out in front of him. "It attacked a hunter this morning. It's all over the news. Deadly beast captured. All's well in Mystic Falls." Damon said, in monotone, moving his hand in the air, in straight lines.

"Why would you cover your tracks?" Stefan asked, lifting his head up slightly as Damon started walking around, then looked at him with a smirk. "I decided to stay a while. And I'm just having way too much fun here with you, Elena and Elaina." Damon said stopping at a window and turning back around to Stefan.

"Can't touch Elaina now." Stefan said in a matter of fact tone.

"Well the vervain keeps me out of her head." Damon said. "Maybe that's not my target." Damon said.
