"Myah?!" Grim gasped offended by Ace's words.

"Pfft... Ah ha ha!" Ace started to laugh, catching (y/n)'s attention. She placed the cloth that she was using to clean the lion statue down and turned to him. "I can't hold it back anymore! Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha! Come on, you're the ones who turned orientation into such a fiasco, right? The one summoned by the Dark Mirror who can't even use magic, and the monster no one summoned at all. It took everything I had not to burst into laughter right in the middle of the ceremony!" Ace said as he continued to laugh.

"H-Hey! You don't gotta be a jerk about it!" Grim angrily said at him.

"So in the end, neither of you got admitted, and now you're janitors? Ah ha ha! SO lame!" Ace commented. The girl clenched her hands but took a deep breath.

"What did you just call me?!" Grim glared at the boy

"And you're both so clueless you don't even know who the Great Seven are. Not one of them! Maybe before you try getting into the academy again, you ought to take a second crack at kindergarten? Ah ha ha ha ha!"

Grim growled, which caught the girl's attention. "Grim, enough." She sharply said to him "As for you, why would you expect me to know the Great Seven when I am from another world" she questioned him with a firm tone.

Ace just waved her off, "Anyway, just thought I'd tease you a bit. And man am I glad I did. It's been a blast! Unlike you, I actually have classes to get to, so I'll let you get back to picking up trash. Bye!" The boy started to walk off which made (y/n) to sigh in relief.

"Let's continue our job-"

"Myuh-uh! You ain't walkin' away from me! It's too late for that!" Grim yelled

"GRIM DON'T!" (y/n) yelled, but she was too late. Grim threw a blue fireball towards Ace.

"Whoa!" Ace dodged the attack in time, and looked at Grim. "No one makes fun of Grim, Master of Fire! I'm gonna make that explodey-head of yours explode all over again!"

"Explodey-head?!" Ace was offended. He took out a pen with a red gem on it, "You wanna throw down with me, shorty? You got some guts. You wanna talk hair, huh? I'm gonna shave you like a toy poodle!"

"Myaaaah!" Grim threw another fire, "Oh-ho! How do you like that?" Ace deflected the attack by summoning wind.

"H-hey! His magic winds are blowin' my fireballs off course! No fair!" Grim said and got even angrier and the fight between the two continued.

"What's going on over there? A fight?!" A student nearby noticed the commotion. Soon many students came to watch.

"Oh, sweet! Get 'em!"

"Enough." (y/n)'s voice cut through the noise like a blade, immediately stilling the taunts encouragements from the crowd. "This isn't a show for your entertainment. Today's the first day of school, don't you have classes to attend?" she coldly glared at the crowd of students who froze in place, unable to muster anything back to her because of her tone.

"Aww... Can't hit me with your little fireballs?" Ace taunted

"Grr... You better believe I'm about to!"

"Both of you knock it off! You'll burn something or someone!" (y/n) yelled, getting quite annoyed that the two are in their own world.

But once again, (y/n)'s words were not heard "Take that!" Grim once again threw another fireball at Ace.

"Pfft. All it takes is a little gust to- Hah!" Ace sent out another wind magic, redirecting the fireball elsewhere.

The girl's eyes widened behind her sunglasses at the direction of where the fireball is heading to. (y/n) teleported in front of the Queen of Hearts' statue, surprising all the students who came to watch. Their gasps caught the fighting duo's attention, they turned and their eyes widened. "H-hey! Get out of there!" Ace called out to her.
