WHAT?!

My eyes widened as I screamed out, fighting back as I tried to stop him from shoving me out. He easily overpowered me though and managed to finally push me back. My heart dropped when it came to me that I was falling. I screamed for help as I flicked my arms around, dammit I probably look so stupid right now. I could see the man peek his head out the window, showing me his tender smile as if that would do anything. Just for good measure, I cursed him under my breath and showed him the finger, I was beyond pissed.

I looked back behind me though and realized I was quickly heading closer and closer to the ground, I felt my stomach twist when I envisioned my gruesome death, yuck! Before I reached the ground though, I closed my eyes, bracing for the heavy impact.

nothing.

I felt nothing.

Was I dead already?

I opened my eyes to see that I was still in the air, but I was just really close to the ground now. I was confused to say the least, about so many different things. First of all what the hell is lifting me up, because I could feel the collar of my shirt being pulled. I looked up and over my shoulder, seeing a small red feather. It took me a bit but then it all clicked for me, Damn you, Mr.hero!

I could already see him grinning in my head, those stupid golden eyes of his were probably glimmering with amusement. I opened my eyes and looked around, seeing that nobody was there to witness this embarrassing moment of mine. Then again it was pretty early in the morning, I mean the sun was still barely beginning to rise! Oh well. I sighed and looked up from the window, checking to see if he would peak his head out. I didn't want to stay in this alleyway any longer, it stank like hell.

Suddenly I was dropped, the feather letting me go as I fell to my knees. Great, now I have dirt on my knees, I look gross enough already with my messy hair and eye bags. I sighed and looked up to the sky, seeing the puffy clouds draped over the indigo sky and the red feather retreating back in the window in the corner of my eye. I Thought to myself for a moment.

Did I really just get kicked out of my own apartment?

I sighed and looked back down at the ground, the smell of the dumpster next to me filling the air the longer I stayed there. it reeked of rotten food and had a disgusting humidity factor to it. Gross. Not like I wasn't used to the smell though. Anyway, I huffed and began walking out of the alleyway, peeking my head out as I checked to see if there were people around. Still nobody. Awesome. As I walked out of the alleyway though, I looked over to my left and saw... a figure? Actually I can't tell all that well, it's a little dark after all.

I squinted my eyes, the figure looked human, I could tell that much. The black silhouette was still for a moment, before then quickly beginning to walk closer and closer. Shit they were fast! I didn't know why but my legs moved on their own and I started running.

I ran and ran. As fast as I possibly could.

But the tiniest pebble just had to fuck it all up.

I tripped and fell, obviously, and scraped my knee against the concrete floor, an ashy mark had already formed from the initial scrape. I could hear the footsteps behind me stop, before an abrupt snort cut the silence. I felt my ears heat up in embarrassment at the situation, I'm so glad no one else is around right now. Wait no that's actually a bad thing, cus wasn't I just running from a potential killer? HELP

I quickly got up and turned around, immediately remembering the situation I was in. I was ready to see a disheveled sick man, but all I was met with was a stupid blonde that was trying to keep a straight face. Wait. Oh right Mr. Hero!
