"THERE YOU ARE," Micah called, stumbling into the bathroom beside them. "Rico said get downstairs right now." He added, his fingers flipping the mic on before he handed it off to her. "It's song time."

Whether he was plain stupid, or willfully blind, Eden eyed him cautiously. Not because she was doing anything bad, but because he didn't have anything to say about her being alone with a boy? Weird. New.

The instrumental of Love Me Like You, Little Mix played downstairs. She wanted to laugh at the absurdity of it all, "I hate this song." She lied, the song was sentimental to her. "No Sol, no song."

And as if the world was playing some cruel game on her, Solana's voice rang through the speaker singing adlibs. "Sha-la-la-la."

Eden paused, her eyes darting to Micah for confirmation. "Is my wife downstairs?"

"Shit." He cursed, his head hung low. "I owe Landon."

For what? Who knows. He probably placed a bet on them. Typical.

Her eyes brightened, her smile wide and joyful. Eden tumbled down the stairs— tumbled, because she tried to jump the last few and rolled her ankle instead.

Peeling herself from the ground, she boosted it outside and into the arms of her 'wife', her best friend, Solana. "Forget the song, let's go make our own music!"

"Damnit, Eden!" Rico cried.

"To my room!" His sister spoke over him.

Solana sent Rico a fake apologetic look before gaining a grip on Eden's ass. "It's her birthday, gotta give the birthday girl what she wants." She said with a squeeze, making way for the sliding door.

It was a joke of course, but how would anyone else know that? Bringing the mic from Solana's hands to his lips, Rico licked them, awkwardly staring at the audience ahead. "She's joking. It's a thing. They're not actually—"

"Sigh. You're killing it, dude, and not in a good way." Eden dropped herself from Solana's arms, commencing the first line in the song.

— "He might got the biggest car-ar-ar. Don't mean he can drive me wild, or he can go for miles." The Shais girl sang, circling her friend with a smile so deviously sultry. "Said he got a lot of ca-a-ash, darling, he can't buy my love. It's you I'm dreaming of."

— "They try to romance me, but you got that nasty and that's what I want." Solana followed Eden's lead, her own sway in her hips. (That's what I want)

— "So, baby, baby, come and save me. Don't need those other numbers, when I have my number one." They intonated, falling into the chorus.

The problem is, if Eden wills it to, the world disappears. So while everyone else became background, Eden and Solana sang circles around each other right to the end verse.
