Lapis woke up to the sunlight shining brightly through the blinds above her bed as well as the smell of –bacon? Coming into the bedroom. She sat up in bed with her eyes still closed and stretched out her limbs, noticing the soreness on some parts of her body. She went through her dresser drawers to put on something less-birthday suit-ish, to walk out into the kitchen.

Peridot was standing over the stove, wearing nothing but his trousers and a cooking apron covering his abs. He hummed softly to the music playing from the record player, flipping the bacon with a pair of kitchen tongs. He looked up as she entered, grinning as he looked her up and down.

"Mornin'," he spoke with a slight gravelly voice.

Lapis walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist, giving him a slight squeeze as she leaned against his back, peering over his shoulder at the pan.
"Smells good," She says, a smile creeping into her voice. "Might be a bit too crispy though."

Peridot chuckled and turned off the stove. He turned around to face her , wrapping his arms around her slim waist. He picked her up and set her down on the counter next to the stove, which he leaned against while standing between her legs.

"It's not that bad," he replied with a slight smirk, inching closer to Lapis' face. "A little char never hurt anyone."

Lapis wrapped her arms around his neck, a smirk on her own face as he leaned in towards her. "Oh yeah? I think you'll burn your mouth if you take a bite~"

He chuckled at her teasing tone, his hands resting on her hips. "I'm willing to risk it," Peridot pulled Lapis closer and leaned down to nip at the crook of her neck. "I have a strong tongue."

Lapis let out a soft moan when she felt Peridot's teeth on her neck, arms wrapping tighter around his neck to pull him in closer. She tilted her head to the side to give him better access to her neck.

"You better watch it." She warned in a soft voice. "Or you might be having a different kind of breakfast this morning~"

A low growl rumbled deep in Peridot's chest as he continued to kiss and nip at her neck. His hands moved to her thighs, fingers digging slightly into the soft flesh. "Maybe that's what I have in mind." He murmured, his voice gruff.

Lapis let out a moan as she felt his fingers dig into her thighs, her hands moving to his hair to tug at the blonde locks. Peridot groaned, his breath hot against her neck-

"Yo! Anybody home?" A muffled voice came from the direction of the living room followed by a rapid knock on the door.

"Goddammit." Peridot said, pulling away from Lapis so she could answer the door.

Lapis sighed in disappointment, composing herself before sliding off the counter to answer whoever was at the door. She glanced over her shoulder at Peridot, giving him a look that promised this wasn't over yet. She opened the door to see two gentlemen in suits and hats, an easily recognizable look if you have lived in the area long enough. These were mafia members. Lapis knew they were probably looking for Peridot and wouldn't be leaving anytime soon until they found him.

The two men glanced at each other briefly before turning their attention back to Lapis. Their eyes swept over her from head to toe, amused by her current state of undress. A smirk crept onto their faces.

"Hey there doll." the first man spoke, eyeing Lapis up and down. "We are looking for somebody. Tall, blonde hair, green eyes, you wouldn't happen to see anybody like that would ya'?"

Lapis wasn't the greatest at lying, but she would try to make these men go away.

"No. I have not seen anybody like that."
