April walked down the street with the bagged-up remains of Y/N's laptop swinging at her side. As she reached a familiar alleyway, she glanced around to make sure no one was watching. Once the coast was clear, she crouched down, lifting the heavy manhole cover with practiced ease. The sewers were like a second home to her by now. She descended into the underground, the cool, damp air wrapping around her as she climbed down the ladder. The faint sounds of dripping water and distant machinery filled the tunnel as she made her way deeper toward the lair.

After walking through the dim, narrow sewer tunnels, she finally reached the lair. The entrance opened up to a sprawling, cavernous space, way bigger than anyone would ever guess lay hidden beneath the city streets. The place was lit up with neon lights, and despite the rough exterior, it had a homely vibe—random graffiti on the walls, pizza boxes scattered around, and a bunch of mismatched furniture. It was the kind of place you could relax in, even though it was a hideout for mutant ninjas.

"April!" Raph's deep, but soft voice called out. She spotted the giant snapping turtle lounging on the couch, a smile spreading across his face as soon as he saw her. Even though he was the leader, Raph had a surprisingly gentle side, always looking out for his brothers. "What's up, little sis?" he said, pushing himself up to greet her. April grinned, feeling the usual warmth she got from seeing her best friends. "Hey, Raph! Just here on business," she replied, holding up the bag with the broken laptop.

Before she could explain, Leo sauntered in from the training room, twirling one of his energy swords with a cocky grin. "April O'Neil, back again. You must've missed us," he teased, striking a pose like he was the star of a movie. April rolled her eyes, but couldn't help laughing. "Keep dreaming, Leo. I'm here because I need Donnie's help," she said, shaking the bag. Leo raised an eyebrow. "You break something, O'Neil? Gonna have to add that to the list of April mishaps," he quipped, earning a playful shove from her as she passed by.

Mikey appeared next, sliding in from the kitchen with his signature carefree energy. "April! What's poppin', girl? You want some pizza? I made an extra rad one with pickles and marshmallows," he offered, holding out a plate. April grimaced, laughing. "As tempting as that sounds, Mikey, I'm good," she said, patting his arm. Mikey shrugged, already taking a bite of his odd creation. "Your loss, dude."

April made her way toward Donnie's lab, leaving behind the playful banter of the others. The lab was filled with all sorts of gadgets and glowing tech, the complete opposite of the chaos in the main living area. Donatello, the tech genius of the group, was hunched over a workbench, fully immersed in some random invention. His purple mask hung low on his forehead, and he had that familiar look of concentration, tweaking a device that looked like a mix of a toaster and a rocket engine.

"Hey, Donnie," April called, stepping into the lab. Donatello didn't look up immediately, his hands still busy with the invention. "Oh, April. What's up?" he muttered, distracted. She walked up to him, holding out the plastic bag. "I need a favor. My friend's laptop... it's a disaster. Think you can fix it?" she asked, setting it on the table in front of him. Donnie finally looked up, pushing his goggles higher on his head as he inspected the broken laptop inside the bag.

He raised an eyebrow, not looking particularly impressed. "You call this a challenge?" he said with a slight smirk. "This is like kindergarten arts and crafts for me." April grinned, knowing he'd say something like that. "I knew you'd say that. But seriously, Y/N's counting on it. They've got a ton of school stuff on there, and it's completely fried," she explained, watching as Donnie began to unzip the bag.

Donnie shrugged, already starting to examine the damage. "No sweat, April. I'll have this up and running in no time. Shouldn't take more than a couple hours," he said, as if reviving a completely trashed laptop was as easy as flipping a switch. April chuckled, grateful but still a little amazed at how effortlessly confident he was. "You're a lifesaver, Donnie. I owe you one," she said, leaning against the workbench.

"Don't mention it," Donnie replied, already deep into disassembling the laptop. His hands moved with expert precision, removing damaged parts and assessing what needed to be replaced. To him, this was just another routine task, something that barely scratched the surface of his tech skills. April stood there for a few moments, watching as he worked, feeling relieved that the laptop was in capable hands.

With her usual smile, April turned to leave, but not before looking back at Donnie. "Seriously, thanks, Donnie. I'm gonna let Y/N know it's in good hands," she said. Donnie waved her off, his attention fully back on his work. "Tell them not to worry. This thing will be good as new," he said, his voice muffled by the sound of tools clinking on the metal table.

Satisfied, April left the lab and headed back toward the living room, feeling the familiar warmth of the lair. As she walked through the neon-lit space, she couldn't help but feel grateful for her unique family of mutant brothers. Whatever came her way, they always had her back—and Y/N's laptop was just another thing she knew Donnie would fix, no problem.
