The next day, Jungkook woke up with a messy mind. He spent the whole night thinking about nothing but Jin alone.
His mind raced with thoughts of how and why Jin lost his sight. It had been five years since Jin lost his sight? That was really surprising, something Jungkook couldn't have guessed at all. He was so curious about many things: first that "Him" caller ID, then how Jin lost his sight, and so many more.
He felt his headache. If it were any other day, he wouldn't even bother getting up to come to school. No way would he do that. But today was different. He felt as if he'd feel good and his headache would go away if he saw Jin. He didn't know why but he felt this way, and it felt right too.
Without having any breakfast, Jungkook freshened up and ran towards the school.
Entering the classroom, as always, he found Jin sitting at his regular place, with earphones on and his head laid down. A smile appeared on Jungkook's lips as he felt as if coming to school never felt so worth it. He felt excited just thinking about how the day would pass with being beside Jin. He wondered if he could invite himself over to Jin's house again for chips and his tea. He would disagree, but he really liked Jin's company.
Jungkook hurriedly stepped forward to run towards Jin only to be stopped when he saw someone approaching Jin.
Jin, who had his head down, eyes closed, resting and thinking with his calm music on in his earphones, suddenly felt someone tap his shoulder gently, grabbing his attention. He knew it wasn't Jungkook. He turned over to sense it was Minjun.
"Oh, Minjun. Hi," Jin smiled forcibly and politely.
"Jin, how are you?" Minjun said with a gentle smile.
"I am good, what about you?"
"I am also great, haha."
"What did you want to talk about?" Jin asked.
"Actually, about yesterday, I was kinda worried thinking if you understood the notes. I thought I could help again if you need any," Minjun said, kinda awkwardly.
Jin, understanding his words, smiled and said, "Thanks a lot for the offer. And no, I don't have any problems now. I really appreciate that you care to ask me. Thank you once again." Jin smiled politely.
"Are you sure you don't need any help?" Minjun asked.
"Don't you have ears to listen? He once said he doesn't need help means he doesn't!" Jungkook's deep and intense voice broke between Jin and Minjun, as his intense glare made Minjun gulp down. He felt nervous and awkwardly laughed at Jungkook and left from there.
Jungkook rolled his eyes at him before sitting down beside Jin and asking, "What were you two talking so much about? Why were you smiling so much with him? Is he funny? Did he tell jokes? Do you like jokes?" His voice was stern, not funny at all. Jin, by his voice, could realize Jungkook was in a bad mood.
"Jungkook, are you alright?"
"I am," Jungkook nodded. "Now answer."
"We weren't talking much; he just said if I needed help and I said no, then you came."
"Did you say I was here for you if you needed help?"
"Oh...I didn't."
"Great, so he will come again." Jungkook caressed his forehead. "Listen. Don't be close to him. He doesn't feel right to me." Jungkook grumbled in annoyance.
Jin smiled then said, "Okay, I will. By the way, did you eat yet?"
"Breakfast? No, I forgot."
"Why?"
