They continued working, with Jin patiently guiding Jungkook through the project. Despite the mess on his side, Jungkook found comfort in Jin's steady presence. Maybe, just maybe, he could learn to see things differently through Jin's eyes, of heart.
After three hours, they were finally done working. The sky had already turned dark.
"I am done. Thank god. Damn, I am tired and hungry. Jin, I am hungry," Jungkook pouted, watching Jin giggling while packing the papers.
"I can cook whatever you want to eat," Jin offered.
"Really?" Jungkook's eyes lit up with excitement as he pulled Jin towards the kitchen, a place he hardly ever entered.
Jin stood a bit stiffly and confused as he said, "Well, Jungkook, you see, when I cook at my house, I know where all the stuff and ingredients are. I am familiar with them, but here I don't know anything about where things are. So, I don't think I can do it..."
Jungkook's excitement faded, feeling dumb for not considering this. Realizing his silence, Jin smiled gently. "Don't be upset... How about you help me with getting the ingredients while I cook?"
Jungkook nodded, agreeing enthusiastically. "Okayyyyy!"
"Let's eat something simple. How about noodles?" Jin suggested.
"Sure," Jungkook nodded like an excited kid.
"So, where's the apron?"
"What apron?"
"Kitchen apron... you know that, right?" Jin asked.
"Oh yes, wait." Jungkook glanced at the counter and saw the apron placed on top of the fridge. He wondered why it was there, then remembered he never entered the kitchen nor wore the apron, so it stayed there. He shrugged it off and grabbed the apron. "Here, let me help you with the apron."
Jungkook pulled Jin closer, making Jin nervous. He gently turned Jin around and placed the apron over Jin's head, his hands brushing against Jin's broad shoulders. The closeness and Jungkook's strong scent being so close made Jin's heart race rapidly. While Jungkook tied the apron around Jin's waist, he realized for the first time how slim Jin's waist was.
What the hell...
his waist...
it's so thin!!
What THE FUCK!!!!!!!!!
Jungkook was surprised as he tried to size Jin's waist by tightening the apron. He glanced up to stare at Jin's wide and broad shoulders, then down at his thin waist. Jungkook realized how good a figure Jin had.
"Jungkook?"
"Oh yes, I am done." Jungkook quickly tied the apron and turned Jin around to see him in the apron. Jin looked cute with his hair a bit messy over his forehead.
"Are you there?"
"Oh yes. Uhm, shall we start?" Jungkook awkwardly said.
"Yes." Jin nodded.
Jungkook caressed his chest, feeling overwhelmed with emotions. He had the urge to grab Jin tightly in his arms. He didn't know why, but he felt the yearning to hold Jin closer and tighter. It was making him feel crazy.
"Okay, so firstly, get me ramen packs. You have those, right?" Jin asked.
"Of course." Jungkook nodded and grabbed two ramen packets.
"Nice. Now, Jungkook, can you grab me the carrots?"
"C-carrots... where are they?" Jungkook wondered.
