The warning message haunted Bella through the night. Every shadow seemed more menacing, every noise more threatening. She knew the stakes were higher than ever. Giovanni might have been dealt with, but the enemies he left behind were even more desperate and dangerous.

Morning came, casting long shadows across the mansion. Bella, Clara, and Marco convened in the dining room for breakfast. The atmosphere was heavy, the conversation minimal. Each of them was lost in their thoughts, considering their next moves.

“We need to be more proactive,” Clara said finally, breaking the silence. “If we wait for them to come to us, we’ll always be on the back foot.”

Marco nodded. “Agreed. Bella, your intel has been invaluable. We need to press our advantage and dismantle what’s left of Giovanni’s network.”

Bella sipped her coffee, feeling the weight of their words. “I’ve identified several key players in Giovanni’s network. We can target them, but we have to be careful. They’ll be expecting us.”

“We’ll need to divide our forces,” Clara suggested. “Hit multiple targets simultaneously to keep them off balance.”

The plan was set into motion swiftly. Bella worked tirelessly, coordinating with Clara and Marco to plan their strikes. She felt a strange mix of fear and excitement. The danger was palpable, but so was the sense of purpose.

As night fell, the teams moved into position. Bella stayed in the surveillance room, her eyes glued to the screens. Enzo joined her, his presence a comforting anchor in the storm of her emotions.

“We’re ready,” Enzo said, his voice calm and steady. “Are you?”

Bella nodded, her resolve firm. “Let’s do this.”

The operations began simultaneously across the city. Bella watched the feeds, her heart pounding as their forces moved with precision. Each target was hit swiftly, their defenses overwhelmed. The plan was working.

Just as Bella allowed herself a moment of relief, a new feed caught her eye. A group of armed men were approaching the mansion. Her blood ran cold as she realized they had been outmaneuvered.

“Enzo, we’ve got incoming!” Bella shouted, her voice filled with urgency.

Enzo’s expression darkened. “Lock down the mansion. We’re not letting them get through.”

Bella’s fingers flew over the keyboard, initiating the lockdown protocol. The mansion’s security systems sprang to life, reinforced doors and barriers sliding into place. She could hear the distant sounds of gunfire as Enzo’s men engaged the intruders.

The minutes dragged on, each one feeling like an eternity. Bella monitored the feeds, coordinating the defenses and relaying information to Enzo. The attackers were well-organized, but Enzo’s men held their ground.

Just when it seemed like the tide was turning in their favor, an explosion rocked the mansion. Bella was thrown from her chair, her ears ringing from the blast. She struggled to her feet, her vision swimming.

“Bella, are you okay?” Enzo’s voice crackled through the radio, filled with concern.

“I’m fine,” Bella replied, though her body ached. “What happened?”

“They breached the outer wall,” Enzo said, his voice tense. “We’re holding them off, but we need to push them back.”

Bella’s mind raced as she assessed the situation. They couldn’t afford to let the attackers gain any more ground. She grabbed her gun and headed for the control room, determined to help however she could.
