I woke up to the sound of thunder outside, the light shun onto my face making me flinch.
I groaned, turning to my side where I felt a sharp pain in my wrist.

I hissed, and turned my head to look at my clock.
6:46am.

It was still dark outside, very dark. And nobody in my house was awake.

I sat up, looking around my room. Fuck, I don't have my phone on me.

I stood up and forced my tired body to the door, where I opened it ever so gently.

I walked down my stairs, praying that I wasn't being to loud. I went over to the top cabinet, where I searched around for my phone.

And of course, there it was. Where my mom always puts it.

I turned it on and the bright light made me flinch, I made my way back upstairs so my parents wouldn't hear me or anything.

I plopped down on my bed and stared at my phone, no new messages.

I could barely move left wrist, and the pain was getting too insufferable so I made my way to the bathroom.

I looked around, trying to find anything that could help. Inside the cabinets under the sink I found some first aid bandages.

Perfect.

I wrapped my arm around it, hissing at the pain. I then hid it underneath my jumper and walked back over to my room, I had a massive headache as always.

*time skip*

I had managed to fall back asleep and woke up back again at around 11:34am.

I looked around my room and sat up, rubbing my eyes. It was pretty cold in my room, I laid back down and tried to fall back asleep.

But, my phone rang with messages from Stan.

~~~
S: hey dude, u coming out today?
K: nah
S: please? We're all going to the park, it'll be fun.
~~~

Hm, maybe I should go. It'll give me a chance to confront Stan about what I heard yesterday night.

I yawned and stood up, beginning to get ready. I did my routine I always did.

And after all that, I walked downstairs to spot my mom at her usual spot on the couch.

She didn't even look at me in the eyes. "Where are u going?"

"To the library, I need to get some books for school."

She wasn't buying it. I just had to continue lying until she stopped caring.

"The library huh? Kyle I swear, if you're lying to me I will find out. Go."

I walked out the house, relieved she let me go without asking any more questions.

I began walking the path to the park I was at the previous night, it didn't take long before I spotted Stan, cartman and Kenny already there.

Cartman stared at me as I walked, I made eye contact with neither of them. "Jesus..." Kenny spoke.

"Kyle, are u even alive? U look like u haven't slept in days." He continued.

Why does everyone have to comment on how I look? I know I look like shit, stop reminding me.

I put on a forced smile and nodded. "I'm fine, just been busy lately."

I know Stan wasn't believing me at all, since he knows me better than anyone. But I continued to lie, insisting that I'm fine.

"Whatever, can we just go to the pizza place now?" Cartman asked. I rolled my eyes and started walking.

Stan and Kenny were in front of me and cartman, I was walking silently, not daring to speak.
