As Ria and John stood in the secluded alcove, lost in their own world, Ria suddenly pushed him away, her face flushed with emotion.
"Who is Sarah?" she demanded, her voice trembling.
Her sudden outburst took John aback. He chuckled, amused by her jealousy.
"Sarah?" he repeated, his brow furrowing in confusion. "She's just a colleague from work."
Ria's jealousy flared up.
"You were pretty close to her," she accused.
John chuckled, amused by her reaction.
"Come on, Ria. It's not like we were dating. We were just friends. The boss asked me to grab coffee for the team, so I brought her along."
Ria hit him playfully on the arm, her anger subsiding. She couldn't believe she had been so jealous of a colleague.
"You're such a tease," she said, smiling.
John pulled her back into his arms, his laughter still lingering. "I'm sorry, Ria," he said. "I didn't mean to tease you. I just couldn't believe you were here."
Ria leaned into his chest, feeling a sense of peace and contentment wash over her. She knew that their reunion was just the beginning of something special.
After a few more minutes of teasing and laughter, John took Ria's hand and led her back into the club. They walked hand in hand, their bodies pressed together as they navigated the crowded dance floor.
As they danced, Ria couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and contentment. She had found the love of her life, and she was finally happy.
