As months turned into years, the weight of the distance between Ria and John began to wear on her. The initial excitement and novelty of their long-distance relationship had faded, replaced by a sense of loneliness and isolation.

Ria longed for the simple joys of a normal relationship: spontaneous dates, shared meals, and physical intimacy. The constant communication over video calls and messages, while comforting in some ways, could never replace the tangible presence of a loved one.

The strain of the distance began to take a toll on Ria's health. She experienced frequent headaches, insomnia, and a general feeling of malaise. Her friends and family noticed the change in her, but she was reluctant to admit how much she was struggling.

One evening, as Ria was lying in bed, staring up at the ceiling, she couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by a sense of hopelessness. She missed John more than she could ever express, and the thought of never being able to touch him or feel his presence in her life was unbearable.

Tears streamed down her face as she realized that she couldn't continue living like this. The distance was slowly eroding her happiness and her sense of self. She knew she had to make a difficult decision, but she was unsure of what it would be.
