HYACINTH MOORE 🪻 is an angel. She was described as the human embodiment of sunshine, a gentle, kind, and lovely soul of ABBEY MOUNT. Many have themselves yearning for her kindness, her softened doe eyes that lighten by the endearing amount of words that amused her from the books that Mrs. Kingsley often led her.

Freddie Kingsley has himself drawn to her. He believed that it may be her eyes of allure that captivated him ━ , especially by that unforgettable moment of him sharing a room with her in a secluded library. The same day, he caught himself staring at her doe eyes that were confused about seeing him.

"Er, hi?" Freddie waves awkwardly ─ cursing himself for behaving in such a way towards a girl he met.

Hyacinth pulls her book closer to her chest and blushes a bit. "Hello." She muttered timidly, shifting away and closer to the edge of the library's couch.

'Freddie Kingsley,' Hyacinth thought, glancing now and then from her book towards the boy who was a few chairs away from her, quietly reading a textbook. 'He's the boy that Harriet Bentley is head over heels for.' She slightly cringed from the sudden thought of the obnoxious, big headed, egoistic girl that Mrs. Kingsley appointed to be the school's head girl.

By her sudden deep of thought, she hasn't notice Freddie looking at her with an amused grin, leaning over to his palm with his elbow resting on the table ─ he watches how her nose scrunched in distaste "What brought you to scrunch in that type of way, darling?"

Hyacinth flinch ─ as if she was brought back from her thoughts, looking at him embarrassingly. "O-Oh, it's nothing really..." she laughs awkwardly. "Just girl thoughts."

Freddie hummed and smirked. "Do tell."

She gave a shy cough, slightly looking away "That's none of your business ─" she says rather harshly that Freddie, in an act, took a offense that his face was all written by it. Hyacinth immediately panics. "I-I! I didn't mean it like that!" She stammered.

That made Freddie laughs quite wholeheartedly, his laughter slightly echoed through the secluded library that dusted more pink hues on Hyacinth's cheeks. "I know, darling, I'm just teasing you." He swoons with a wink.

"So, I supposed that was given by my mother," he points at the book on her grasp. A Greek mythology book that was written by Robert Graves in the year 1995.

Hyacinth smiled at the sudden mention of the headmistress as she straightened herself on her seat, seemingly eager. Her doe eyes brightened that Freddie immediately noticed and smiled. "Oh yes. Headmistress Kingsley is kind enough to lead me to a book from her shelf." She exclaims before smiling softly, tracing her fingertips over to the cover of the book. "It made me feel at ease..." she murmurs.

Freddie hums. "Why is that?" She quirks a brow at his sudden curiosity. "Why the sudden curiosity, pretty boy?" She asks, not bothering to correct the nickname as she didn't seem to realize or comprehend what she has said, but Freddie heard it loud and clear.

"I say that I'm quite intrigued by you, American girl." Freddie retorts with a playfulness lingering in that brought soft laughter from Hyacinth.

She then rolled her eyes before standing up from the couch, making Freddie raised his eyebrow and straightened his posture from his chair and watched intently as Hyacinth made her way towards him before realizing that she was indeed approaching him, he smiles in triumph and pulls a chair beside him for her to sat down.

"It's because," she starts, lowering her book down on the table next to Freddie's and sat down "She made me feel welcome other than the girls that seemed to be having their tongue twisting with rumors that are spreading in the academy." Hyacinth puts it bluntly and unfazed possible yet by the looks of it, Freddie seemingly deemed disappointed.

Hyacinth, however, smiled comfortingly. "But that's alright. It'll pass." Freddie flicked a strand of her hair that slipped from her ear that made her snort. "That makes the two us then," he whispered, meeting her eyes that made his heart melt. "Welcome to Abbey Mount, darling."
