Walking with poise, Hyacinth led Poppy towards the crowded corridor, that seemingly parted like how Moses parted the large sea into two as Poppy walked by ━ clearly by her appearance and her resting bitch face that would always scrunch up when people would bump into her shoulder now and then.

"Here's your dorm, just approach Kate when you have any questions," Hyacinth reminded before pointing her finger accusingly at her "Don't ever, ever make any rude remarks." Poppy raised her hands in surrender, lazily smirking.

Hyacinth couldn't help but kiss her cheek "You might hate being here, but I'm really delighted that we're together." she whispered, casting one last smile before walking away, leaving a dazed and heavy-hearted Poppy with her chanel bag.

"Oh, Cynthie."

"Hyacinth Moore." The voice broke through the quiet, and though Hyacinth resisted the urge to roll her eyes, she calmly shut her book and placed it on her lap. Looking up, she smiled sweetly at the clearly irritated Harriet. "Bonjour, Harriet."

Harriet rolled her eyes and leaned in, resting her arm beside Hyacinth's shoulder, bringing their faces close. Hyacinth narrowed her eyes slightly but maintained her smile. "May I help you, head girl?" she tutted, her tone laced with subtle sarcasm.

"Tell your bloody sister to know her place, alright? She's no longer in her pretty, carefree country," Harriet spat, her voice filled with frustration.

Hyacinth tilted her head thoughtfully, a slight smirk tugging at her lips. "Why is that, Harriet? Troubled that a new girl is more attractive than you?" she replied, her voice dripping with mock concern as she pouted playfully.

Harriet's face twisted in anger as she jabbed her finger over Hyacinth's shoulder, her voice low and harsh. "Shut up, Hyacinth, or you'll have yourself expelled."

Hyacinth chuckled, a playful glint in her eyes. "For what purpose, Harriet? Don't you need a valid and clear reason for someone's expulsion? Shouldn't you know the rules? You are our head girl after all," she said with a charming smile.

Harriet's eye twitched in annoyance, her fingers curling angrily around the fabric of the couch, which brought a sense of satisfaction to Hyacinth. "Well, we best be going! We both have responsibilities on our shoulders," Hyacinth said, patting Harriet's shoulder mockingly as she gently pushed her away. Harriet gasped at the audacity of the move, but Hyacinth simply rolled her eyes at the girl's dramatic reaction.

"See you in the dining hall, head girl," Hyacinth called out, her tone light and teasing as she made her way out, leaving Harriet fuming behind her.

Later that day, a stream of girls from different levels marched through the dining hall. The younger ones, around the age of eleven, followed Hyacinth like a line of little ducklings, chatting happily and smiling as they trailed behind her. Upon reaching the dining hall, Hyacinth turned on her heel to face the group, her face lighting up with a dazzling smile.
