Percy woke up feeling like he was still on fire.

His skin stung. His throat felt as dry as sand. He felt tears dried to his face.

He saw blue sky and trees above him. He heard a fountain gurgling, and smelled juniper and cedar and a bunch of other sweet-scented plants. He heard waves, too, gently lapping on a rocky shore.

Percy wondered if he was dead, but he knew better. He'd been to the Land of the Dead, and there was no blue sky.

He tried to sit up. His muscles felt like they were melting.

“Stay still,” a girl’s voice said. “You’re too weak to rise.”

She laid a cool cloth across Percy's forehead.

A bronze spoon hovered over me and liquid was dribbled into his mouth.

The drink soothed hisnthroat and left a warm chocolaty aftertaste. Nectar of the gods.

Then the girl’s face appeared above Percy.

She had almond eyes and caramel-color hair braided over one shoulder. She was…fifteen? Sixteen? It was hard to tell. She had one of those faces that just seemed timeless. She began singing, and my pain dissolved. She was working magic.

Percy could feel her music sinking into his skin, healing and repairing his brain.

“Who?” Percy croaked.

“Shhh, brave one,” she said. “Rest and heal. No harm will come to you here. I am Calypso."

Phoenix awoke to a fast breeze flying over her face. She was in the back seat of a car. A flying car.

She sat up to see the driver.

"Hello, dear," He said, not even looking back at her to see she was awake.

"Dad!" Phoenix smiled.

Apollo pressed a button on the dashboard and the car began to drive itself. He patted the seat next to him telling Phoenix to sit next to him.

Phoenix climbed over the seat, which probably wasn't the most safest thing with the car being thousands of feet in the air and flying at a super fast speed, but Apollo helped her.

Phoenix looked at her arms and legs, which still stung.

"I tried to heal your burns, wrapped them up a bit," Apollo said. "You may have some battle scars."

Phoenix smiled, "that's alright."

Apollo gave her nectar which made. her feel a bit better.

"Where's Annabeth and Davey?" She asked. "They have made it back safely to camp, I made sure of it."

Phoenix nodded, "Percy?"

Apollo looked at her sadly.

"No..." Phoenix muttered.

"I'm sorry, Phoenix," he said. "We couldn't find him. I've been scouting at day, Artemis at night. We haven't seen him."

"We can look again!" Phoenix exclaimed, tears spilling from her eyes. "He's out there I know it!"
