Phoenix had spend her entire summer in constant worry. She checked into camp very often. Horrible nightmares would keep her up at night and awful ideas would send her into a panic.

Now, she was packing to go back to camp. She never knew when it would be her last time packing to go to Camp Half-Blood.

She shuffled through her closet, knocking items to the ground. Her hands fell on a specific blue hoodie. She clutched it tightly. Tears formed in her eyes dripping onto the hoodie. Percy's hoodie. Oh, how she had ruined that relationship.

She dropped to the ground, throwing the hoodie on the ground next to her. She pulled her knees up to her chest and dropping head into her arms.

Next to her, a pair of hands picked up the hoodie.

"There is still time."

Phoenix looked up to see Aphrodite towering over her.

"Aphrodite," she gasped with a smile.

Rising to her feet, Phoenix was pulled into Aphrodite's arms.

"Hello sweetheart."

"What are you doing here?" Phoenix asked.

"I had to check in on you dear," Aphrodite replied. She nodded to the hoodie in her arms.

Phoenix sighed, "I think I destroyed our entire relationship."

Aphrodite smiled. "Of course you didn't, Phoenix."

She brought Phoenix over to the bed and they sat down together.

"That boy still loves you more than anything."

Phoenix glanced down at her hands.

"He still wears that necklace you gave him. He thinks about you every day."

"Really?"

"He even prayed to me once," Aphrodite chuckled.

Phoenix let herself smile.

"Like I said, there is still time," Aphrodite spoke. "Time for you two to make amends."

"He said that you were the one that told him he loves me."

"And he certainly does indeed. You do too. But you kids are still young. You have time to, grow into your relationship with each other."

Phoenix stayed silent.

"Tell me dear, why did you reject him like that?"

Phoenix thought back to how she had kissed him and then got upset. He had asked her to be his girlfriend and she got more mad. "I guess it was out of fear. Fear that he would end up choosing someone else. Moving on and leaving me."

"Someone like that mortal girl?"

"Rachel isn't bad at all," Phoenix said. "Honestly sometimes I think she deserves Percy more than I do."

"Well I'll have you think about it." Aphrodite said. "Have you talked to your father lately?"

Phoenix shook her head. "Not with the war. I haven't seen him since he saved me from the volcano."

Aphrodite nodded. "Try to talk to him soon, even through and Iris message."

"Okay."

"I love you, Phoenix." Aphrodite said, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "Goodbye."

"Goodbye."

Phoenix soon arrived back to camp. She was welcomed back to the Apollo cabin as
cabin leader after the death of Lee.
