"Tell me." I inquired, feeling the urgency in his grip as he pulled me along. "Tell you what?" Jimin replied, a playful glint in his eyes, clearly enjoying my confusion.
"Minnie, seriously, where are we headed?" My patience was wearing thin as he continued to keep me in the dark. He led me toward the parking lot, his voice teasing, "You'll find out soon enough."
"And what about Captain?" I pressed, reluctant to leave him behind after hours. We halted beside his sleek Porsche, and he turned to me, a reassuring smile on his face. "I already asked him. He said you could join us."
"Join us?" I echoed, my mind racing with questions.
"You're quite the curious one, aren't you? Just sit back like a mute doll and let me handle everything," he said, ushering me into the car before sliding into the driver's seat.
Wait a minute. No driver today?
As he settled in, he fixed his gaze on me, his eyes narrowing slightly.
What now?
"What? —Oops!" I exclaimed, quickly fastening my seatbelt as he turned his attention back to the road and ignited the engine. The car roared to life, gliding smoothly onto the street.
Jimin had just shown up at my office, insisting I pack up quickly for a spontaneous adventure.
It was already evening, and the workday was winding down, so I complied with his request.
According to him, I was far too dull and needed to embrace life more. What was that supposed to mean? Apparently, he had plans to whisk me away to some exciting places.
He had already spoken to Grandpa, and now here I was, perched like a decorative sculpture, soaking in the stunning nightscape of Seoul.
The twinkling lights, towering skyscrapers, shimmering stars, and bustling cars all painted a breathtaking picture.
I had always been captivated by glitter and lights.
I recalled my childhood, when I would cover everything—my clothes, my drawing books, even the floor—in glitter, much to Kate's dismay. She would either scold me or confine me for my messy antics.
I still had no idea where Jimin was taking me, but from our earlier exchange, it seemed like more people would be joining us.
So, I decided it was best to relish the view rather than overthink his mysterious plans.

"No way we're doing this!" I exclaimed as the car came to a halt in front of the iconic bowling alley in Seoul.
"Yes way!" Jimin hushed me, urging me to step out so he could hand over the keys for parking. I was so caught up in my thoughts that I absentmindedly exited the car and stood frozen in place.
