"Why are you bringing this up now?" Jimin's voice crackled through the phone, laced with frustration and fatigue.

On the other end, a voice spoke, and he listened intently, even though exhaustion weighed heavily on him.

I understand the dedication he pours into his work. It's not just a job for him; it's his passion, his very essence.

Despite being from an affluent and esteemed background, he strives relentlessly to meet the expectations of his fans. I've witnessed his tireless efforts, yet he often remains unsatisfied with his own achievements.

"I'm just finishing up a grueling schedule, and you still expect me to be there right now!" Jimin's voice rose in exasperation.

"Can't it wait until tomorrow? My sister just returned today," he replied, trying to reason.

"But-fine, I'll come," he conceded after listening to the other person for what felt like an eternity.

He finally hung up, releasing a heavy sigh.

"Dove, would it be alright if we made a quick stop at my company? Some urgent recordings and voiceovers just came up," Jimin asked me, his tired yet angelic eyes pleading.

"Really? They should have given you a heads-up, and you look completely worn out," I expressed my concern.

"It is what it is. I can't change it now. I promise I'll be quick; I know you're tired too, and if I drop you off and then head back, it'll take forever."

"I'm fine, Minnie. I'm not tired at all. It must be important, or they wouldn't have called at this hour.
Hisung, could you please take us to Jimin's company?" I requested our bodyguard.

"Of course, ma'am," he replied, making a U-turn at the next intersection.

As the car glided through the city streets, the glow of neon lights flickered past the windows, casting a kaleidoscope of colors across Jimin's weary face. I could see the tension etched in his features, the way his brow furrowed slightly as he stared out into the night, lost in thought. It was a familiar sight-this blend of determination and fatigue, that seemed to follow him like a shadow.

"Why do they always wait until the last minute to throw these things at you?" I asked, trying to lighten the mood. "You'd think they'd learn by now that you need a little breathing room."

He chuckled softly, though it didn't quite reach his eyes. "You know how it is. The industry moves fast, and sometimes I feel like I'm just trying to keep up. It's like a never-ending race."

I nodded, understanding the weight of his words. Jimin had always been the type to push himself beyond his limits, driven by an insatiable desire to create and connect with his fans. It was admirable, but it also worried me. "You need to take care of yourself, Jimin. You can't pour from an empty cup."

He turned to me, his expression softening. "I know, Dove. I really do. But it's hard to say no when I know how much it means to everyone. I just want to make them proud."
