The Evil King

3- Birth of Redemption

King Leon held his wife close, with too many eyes watching them. He felt sorry for all the people in this prison, he had prisoners in his prime but this prison was over crowded. He needed to get them out of this doomed place.

"Leon, my Love?" Queen Regina looked up at her husband worried at his empty stare.

"Yes, my love?" He looked in her eyes with a smile.

Regina then glanced at the guards and fairy godmother, "I'm sorry if I've disappointed you"

"You haven't. And we will find a way to get you all out of here. " Leon whispered making Maleficent reach closer "Malice, you have to trust me."

"If the Kingdoms are merged, you should be King, not Stefan." Maleficent approached Leon and the guards immediately rushed in grabbing her.

"Drop her or I'll make your lives more pathetic than what they already are!" Leon let go of Regina and his thunderous voice literally shook the guards to the core. "Maleficent is able of many things, but hurting me? Never."

"Your Maj-" Fairy Godmother was about to speak when Leon interrupted her.

"I can't believe the only way for these people to have some peace is when none of us are here. They're part of our Kingdom too." Leon signed to the guards to get out of the door. He briefly stood there looking at the guards leave. "I'll come back. " He caressed Regina's face before leaving the cage which fairy godmother immediately locked. King Leon followed the guards as what would usually start chaos in the cave became absolute silence. The King realised that even the worst of the kingdom had respect for him.

As the King left, a couple guards brought someone up from the Solitude, as the guards take the dark hood over the inmates started cheering for Hades, who was somewhat bruised due to hercules once in a rage visits.

"You were right. The King's Alive!" Jafar shouted out, as others chanted Hades.

Hades immediately turns his eyes to Maleficent and Evil Queen's cell, in tears. "Mal, is it true?" As Maleficent nodded glancing at Evil Queen who leaned on her. Hades couldn't even control his happiness, "I told you all! There's no way King Leon was dead!" He shouted before the guards threw him into his cell. "Maleficent, deep down you knew it too."

"Took me a while to believe he was dead to a mudslide." Maleficent then went back into her cell seating on her bed.

"How you feeling Evil Queen?" Queen of Hearts asked from the next cell.

Regina was still lost in her own little world holding something Leon had handed her in his short visit. "I am feeling alive, which is hard to in a place like this, under Stefan's control."

"He is your King!" The guard lost it and banged the bars.

"My King is King Leon. " Regina held the guards hand and pulled him in to the point his face leaned on the bars. "And that's the Last man you or Stefan wanna mess with. You can tell 'your King' that." Maleficent hearing her friend gain her confidence back was the burst of inner joy she didn't know she needed.

The guard pulled out as all the villains laughed at him, "Guards!! Some help over here." The other guards were laughing too at Evil queen's statement and shook their heads.

"She's right, I wouldn't mess with King Leon." The other guard by the cave's entrance said.

At King Stefan's office, Leon sat across the desk as Stefan was voiding his death certificate. Leon was containing himself of killing Stefan right there for what he heard what he was doing to Maleficent.
