Just as I start puzzling over what my mind just presented to me, a group of 4 people come over. The one girl on the right is a petit brunette with her hair in a braid. She is wearing leggings and a Tom And Jerry sweater. The guy next to her is tall and lean. He has bronze blonde hair, an ear piercing and numbers tattooed on his left forearm. Another guy(who I recognize as Micheal from psychology) has that don't mess with me look going on even though he is wearing nerdy glasses. Lastly is a tall honey-skinned girl with dark chocolate coloured tight curls. She has a warm smile and this tranquility that travels with her. They all sit in a circle with me.

"Heyya, I'm Jasmine, but you can call me Jaz." says the brunette.

I slide my headphones down. "Umm, hi. I'm Ryn."

"Yeah, we know you. Everyone does. You're already famous. By the way, congrats on pissing Milly off on the first day," says Micheal with a lazy grin.

"Who? Ohh you mean-" I roll my eyes and reply sarcastically, "Really? Did I? Well, I didn't know."

"Yeah, you should watch out" says the olive-skinned girl. "By the way, I'm Freya and that's Oliver " she points at Bronze head.

"Nice to meet ya, but I'm so not worried." I wave off her warning.

"Well, you should be. She's known not to take things lightly." Says Oliver.

"Neither am I." I say smiling.

"Girl do you have a death wish?" Asks Jasmine with a raised eyebrow.

I give her a sly smile and shrug. "Maybe."

"This should be interesting," mutters Oliver.

We all burst into laughter and soon were talking like long lost friends.

I get home before my mom and throw my bag on the floor in my room. I run down the stairs to the kitchen and have lunch. Once I have rinsed my plate, I go upstairs to my room and look around. At the moment my room consists of a bed in the middle, a nightstand, desk and chair and it's leaden with boxes. Yah I should probably get to that. I turn on the radio and get to work.

My mom arrives home to find me dancing and singing . I don't notice her until she joins in and we dance till we both trip and fall into my bed and giggle.

"Hey mom !"I say once I've calmed down.

"Hey sweetie. How was school?"

"It was okay. I made new friends and pissed off a cheerleader. Just the usual, just great," I casually say. I get up off the bed and help her too.

"You what?" She exclaims. "Luryn-Lee why?" She asks as she follows me to the sitting room.

"Don't call me that and well, see she compared me to her lil' brother."

She gives me a puzzled look ,"And, why so ?"

"Coz I sounded like her 9 year old brother. My interests, hobbies," I say as I plop onto the couch and browse through the channels on tv.

"Ohh, so now tell how you pissed her off-what did you say?" She sits down next to me.

"All I said was, her insults could use some work and I know 4 year olds who insult better and I can hook her up with them if she needs lessons."

My mom relaxes ,"Okay but try not to get into trouble."

I get up, "Fine I'll try, but I won't promise. Now can I do my homework. I have a lot to do."

"Ok, dinner's in an hour."

Its 10 p.m. and I'm sitting on my bed in my pajamas. I'm about to go to bed when I realize I haven't written in my diary in a while. I grab my purple leather diary which is kept in a shoe box-sized wooden box under my bed which contains all my keep-sakes. I start writing.

Dear Diary,

Today was my first day at Kaleville High. Interesting building and people and I met some new friends. But there is one person that keeps popping into my mind and that is Ms Cooper. She is nagging at my brain. Something about her is nagging me but I don't know what. Its like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Another weird thing was the vision or image my brain conjured up into my mind. Let me describe it.I was standing in dark room with cemented floors and no windows. The room was devoid of furniture besides a chair and a mattress. In the furthest corner of the room sat a girl of about 6 or 7 years old. She was wearing a blue dress and was seated in a fetal position. She was clutching at a necklace while crying silently.

Then the door opened and in came a heavy boot cladded man. He was a shadow, I couldn't see him. He walked in and slid a plate of food to the girl. He said in a baritone, "Don't worry honey, it will all be over soon" and then... nothing. I swear he's familiar somehow- his voice.

And the girl, there's something about her too. It's the bob cut snow white hair and the birth mark shaped like a heart on her ankle. She's

I drop the pen and stare at the last sentence.
