Unraveling the Unknown

The sun streamed through the windows of their shared home, casting a warm glow on the breakfast table. Everything seemed peaceful, but beneath the surface, there was tension brewing. Each of the wives—Saanvi, Sneha, and Sahana—had felt the undercurrents of something amiss in their relationships. For the first time in a long while, they were all together in the house, but there was a palpable sense of unease.

Sneha, the second wife, stirred her coffee absentmindedly, her gaze distant. "I've been meaning to talk to you both about something that's been bothering me," she began hesitantly.

Saanvi and Sahana exchanged a glance, unsure of what was coming but curious to hear what Sneha had to say.

A Suspicion Arises

"I've noticed things... little things that don't quite add up," Sneha continued, her voice soft but steady. "Schedules that overlap strangely, unexplained absences. I feel like there’s something we’re not seeing."

Saanvi, the youngest of the wives but the one married the longest, frowned, her heart skipping a beat. She had noticed similar patterns but had brushed them off, unwilling to delve into something that might disrupt their harmony. "What do you mean, Sneha?" she asked cautiously.

Sahana, the eldest and the most pragmatic of the three, leaned back in her chair, watching the interaction carefully. She had long since developed a sharp intuition and had sensed the same disturbances, but she was waiting for someone else to vocalize it first.

"I think... I think we're not the only ones," Sneha said, her voice barely above a whisper. The weight of her words hung in the air, crashing down on all three women with a force that was hard to ignore.

Doubts Take Root

Saanvi’s face paled. "What are you saying? Do you mean that they... they might have other wives too?" The very idea of it shook her deeply, making her feel foolish for not realizing sooner.

Sahana, who had remained silent until now, nodded gravely. "I've been suspecting it as well. But we have no proof. We need to be sure before we jump to conclusions."

Sneha placed her coffee cup down with a clatter. "I don’t know how to be sure without asking them directly. But it would break everything if we’re wrong."

Saanvi, though younger than the other two, had always been deeply trusting. Her marriage of six years had been a source of stability for her, and she had loved each of her husbands dearly. But now, a seed of doubt was growing, and she wasn’t sure how to handle it. "We need to be careful. This could change everything."

The Plan

Sahana, ever the strategist, was quick to think of a plan. "We need to approach this delicately. No accusations. Just observation for now. Let’s try to figure out if there’s anything concrete before we confront them."

The other two agreed, albeit reluctantly. Sneha’s heart was heavy with suspicion, while Saanvi was torn between wanting to protect the life she had built and needing to know the truth. Sahana, meanwhile, was determined to get to the bottom of the mystery, no matter the outcome.

"We’ll watch their behavior closely," Sahana suggested. "If they’re hiding something, it’ll show."

Signs of Deception

Over the next few weeks, the three wives observed their husbands more carefully. They began to notice things that had once seemed insignificant but now stood out with stark clarity—late-night meetings, whispered phone calls, and occasional slips in conversation.

One night, while sitting with Namjoon after dinner, Saanvi noticed that he seemed more distracted than usual. "Is everything okay? You’ve been working late a lot recently," she asked, trying to sound casual.

Namjoon smiled at her, but it didn’t reach his eyes. "Yeah, just a lot going on with work. You know how it is."

Saanvi nodded, but something in his tone didn’t sit right with her. It felt rehearsed, like an answer he had given many times before.

Across town, Sneha was having a similar experience. Jimin had come home late, his excuse vague, and when she pressed him about where he had been, he brushed it off, saying it was "nothing important."

Sahana, too, noticed that Yoongi had been more evasive than usual, often retreating into his music studio for long stretches of time. She had tried to engage him in conversation, but he seemed distant, always offering short responses before shutting himself away.

The Turning Point

One afternoon, the three wives gathered again, their expressions grim. "It’s obvious now," Sneha said, her voice trembling. "They’re hiding something."

Sahana, ever the calm and collected one, nodded. "We need to confront them. We can’t keep living like this, in the dark."

Saanvi, though hesitant, finally agreed. "But we have to do it carefully. We can’t just accuse them out of the blue."

The three of them devised a plan. They would confront their husbands separately, one by one, to see if their stories lined up. It was risky, but it was the only way to get the truth.

The Confrontation

That evening, Saanvi was the first to confront Namjoon. She waited until they were alone in the living room before speaking. "Namjoon, I need to ask you something important."

He looked up from his book, sensing the seriousness in her tone. "What’s going on?"

Saanvi took a deep breath, her heart pounding in her chest. "Are there other women? Other wives?"

Namjoon’s face froze, his eyes widening in shock. "What?"

"Don’t lie to me, Namjoon," she said, her voice shaking. "I need to know the truth. Are there other wives?"

The silence that followed was deafening. Namjoon’s eyes flickered with something she couldn’t quite place—guilt, perhaps, or fear. But before he could respond, she stood up, tears welling in her eyes. "I can’t believe this..."

The Unfolding Truth

Meanwhile, Sneha had a similar confrontation with Jimin, and Sahana with Yoongi. The responses they received were different in tone but similar in their reluctance to come clean. The truth, however, was slowly unraveling, and the wives could feel it.

By the time they reconvened, all three were emotionally drained but united in their determination to get the answers they needed.

"They know we’re onto them," Sahana said, her voice steely. "Now it’s just a matter of time before they come clean."

The Revelation

The next day, the husbands called for a meeting with their wives, knowing the moment they had all feared had arrived. As the seven of them sat together, the tension in the room was palpable.

Namjoon, speaking for the group, took a deep breath. "We owe you the truth. And we know we should have told you from the beginning, but we were afraid. Afraid of what it would mean, afraid of losing you."

Saanvi, Sneha, and Sahana listened in silence, their hearts heavy with anticipation.

"We’re all married to each of you," Namjoon continued, his voice low. "But you didn’t know... about the others."

The room fell into a stunned silence as the full weight of the truth hit the wives. They had been living a lie, unknowingly sharing their husbands with one another for years. And now, everything had changed.
