The Calm Before the Storm
The atmosphere had shifted significantly in the months following the confrontation. The once fragile relationships between the wives—Saanvi, Sneha, and Sahana—and their husbands were slowly solidifying. Yet, as everyone knew too well, life wasn’t perfect, and navigating a polygamous marriage where secrets had been kept for so long wasn’t without its complications.
Though the men had proven their commitment and worked diligently to regain their wives’ trust, subtle tensions still simmered beneath the surface. In quiet moments, each wife grappled with her own unresolved emotions—feelings that were difficult to express, even now.
As the seven husbands sat down to discuss the progress they had made, there was a shared understanding that they were not out of the woods yet. Each man had worked tirelessly to rebuild their relationship with their respective wife, but the lingering fear that one misstep could unravel everything still hung in the air.

Saanvi’s Restlessness
Saanvi had always been the most vibrant of the three wives—full of life, laughter, and spontaneity. Yet, in recent weeks, she had become unusually quiet. Though her relationship with Taehyung had improved drastically since their pivotal conversation, she felt a deep sense of restlessness that she couldn’t quite shake.
One evening, after a particularly long day at work, Saanvi found herself sitting alone on the balcony, staring out at the city skyline. Her thoughts drifted back to the early days of her marriage—the simplicity, the joy, and the freedom she had felt back then. Things had changed so much since then. While she had forgiven Taehyung for his part in the deception, she wondered if she could ever truly return to that state of carefree happiness.
Taehyung, noticing her distant mood, joined her on the balcony. He sat quietly beside her for a moment before speaking.
"Do you want to talk about it?" he asked softly, his voice filled with concern.
Saanvi shook her head, still unsure of how to articulate what she was feeling. "I don’t know," she admitted. "I thought I had moved on from everything that happened, but I keep thinking... what if things never go back to the way they were? What if we’re just pretending?"
Taehyung frowned, his heart sinking at her words. "I don’t want us to pretend, Saanvi. I want us to be real, even if it’s hard. But I also know that it’s going to take time. We’ve both been through a lot."
Saanvi turned to him, her eyes filled with uncertainty. "Do you ever wonder if we’ll make it? I mean, really make it?"
Taehyung took a deep breath before answering. "Honestly? Yes, I wonder about it sometimes. But I also know that I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make this work. And I hope you are too."
Saanvi sighed, leaning her head on his shoulder. "I am. I just need time to figure things out."

Sneha’s Self-Discovery
Meanwhile, Sneha had taken a different approach to healing. Instead of diving deep into her relationship with Hoseok right away, she had focused on rediscovering herself. The betrayal she had experienced had shaken her sense of identity, and she realized that before she could fully forgive her husbands, she needed to reconnect with the person she had been before the secrets came to light.
She started taking time for herself—joining yoga classes, reading, and reconnecting with old friends. She found solace in these moments of solitude, where she didn’t have to worry about the complexities of her marriage. This time alone gave her the clarity she needed to process her emotions.
One evening, Hoseok came home to find Sneha deeply engrossed in a book. For the first time in weeks, she looked truly at peace.
"Hey," he said softly, sitting beside her. "You seem... different lately. Happier."
