The Days After the Confrontation

In the days following the pact between the wives and husbands, a palpable tension lingered. Though everyone had agreed to give the relationships another chance, the path to recovery was far from clear. Saanvi, Sneha, and Sahana had taken a huge step by deciding to confront the situation head-on, but the emotional weight of what had been revealed still sat heavily on their hearts.

For the seven men, it was a time of deep reflection and guilt. Namjoon, Jin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook knew they had deeply hurt the women they loved. They were determined to regain the trust they had lost, but none of them were under the illusion that this would be easy.

Namjoon gathered them all together for another conversation shortly after the wives had left. "We can’t just pretend that things will go back to the way they were," he began. "We have to do the work. This is going to take time, and we need to be patient."

Jin, who had always been quick with a joke or a smile, looked somber. "We need to be ready for the fact that they might not forgive us completely. Even if they stay, things might never be the same."

Yoongi, ever the quiet thinker, nodded in agreement. "But that doesn’t mean we don’t try. They’ve given us a chance. We owe it to them—and to ourselves—to make this right."

Saanvi’s Struggles

For Saanvi, the youngest of the three wives, the days following their decision were filled with a mix of hope and trepidation. She had been married to the seven men for the longest time, and the bond she shared with them was deep. Yet, the betrayal cut just as deep.

She spent much of her time thinking back to their early days of marriage—how perfect it had all seemed. They had made her feel special, like she was the center of their world. But now, with the revelation that Sneha and Sahana had also been a part of their world without her knowledge, she questioned everything.

One evening, Saanvi sat by the window of her small apartment, staring out at the city lights. She picked up her phone, hesitating before sending a message to Namjoon.

Saanvi: "Can we meet tomorrow? I think we need to talk."

The reply was almost immediate.

Namjoon: "Of course. Just tell me when and where, and I’ll be there."

She sighed, knowing that this conversation would be difficult. But it was necessary. If they were going to rebuild their relationship, she needed to start with Namjoon—the leader, the one who had always guided their relationship.

Sneha’s Resolve

Sneha, meanwhile, threw herself into work to avoid thinking too much about the situation. She had always been the most practical of the three, and though she had agreed to give her husbands another chance, she wasn’t going to make it easy for them.

In her mind, love wasn’t enough to fix what had been broken. Trust needed to be rebuilt brick by brick, and she was determined not to let her emotions cloud her judgment. She made it clear to her husbands that they would have to earn her trust back, not just with words but with actions.

One afternoon, while taking a break from work, she received a call from Hoseok. His voice was gentle, almost hesitant.

"Hey, Sneha," he said, "I was wondering if you’d like to grab dinner sometime. Just the two of us. No pressure, but I thought it might be nice to talk."

Sneha paused, considering the offer. "I’m not sure I’m ready for that yet," she replied honestly. "But I appreciate you asking. Maybe in a little while."

Hoseok didn’t push. "I understand. Whenever you’re ready, just let me know."

After hanging up, Sneha felt a small flicker of hope. Maybe, just maybe, they could find a way to move forward.

Sahana’s Reluctance

Sahana, the eldest and most logical of the three, had been the most skeptical about giving the relationships another chance. Though she had agreed to try, she was still filled with doubts. She had always prided herself on being independent and in control of her life, but now she felt like that control had been stripped away from her.

Her relationship with the seven men was still relatively new compared to Saanvi and Sneha’s. She wondered if they had ever truly been honest with her, or if she had simply been the last to join a web of lies.

One evening, she received a message from Jin.

Jin: "I miss you, Sahana. I know things are complicated, but I just wanted to say that."

She stared at the message for a long time before replying.

Sahana: "I miss you too. But that doesn’t change what happened."

Jin’s reply was immediate.

Jin: "I know. And I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it up to you. Just tell me what you need from me."

Sahana sighed, conflicted. She didn’t know what she needed from him. From any of them. But she knew one thing for sure—she couldn’t go back to the way things were.

A First Step

As the days passed, the seven men began to take steps to show their commitment to rebuilding trust. They each reached out to the wives individually, setting up times to meet, talk, and, most importantly, listen.

Namjoon and Saanvi met at a small café, the same one they had gone to on their first date. There was a sense of nostalgia in the air, but it was tinged with the heavy weight of what had happened.

"I know words aren’t enough," Namjoon began, his voice steady but filled with emotion. "But I want you to know that I’m committed to earning your trust back. We all are. We never wanted to hurt you."

Saanvi listened, her emotions swirling inside her. She wanted to believe him, but the pain was still fresh. "I need time," she said softly. "And I need to see that things are going to change. I can’t just go back to the way things were."

Namjoon nodded. "I understand. And I’ll give you all the time you need."

Meanwhile, Sneha finally agreed to meet with Hoseok. They went for a walk in the park, the autumn leaves crunching beneath their feet as they talked. Hoseok didn’t try to make excuses for what had happened, and Sneha appreciated that. He simply listened, allowing her to express her anger, her hurt, and her frustration.

Sahana, too, met with Jin. They sat on a bench by the river, the cool breeze rustling the water’s surface. Jin was his usual charming self, but there was a new vulnerability in his eyes. "I know I messed up," he said quietly. "And I don’t expect you to forgive me easily. But I’m going to keep trying."

For Sahana, the meeting was bittersweet. She still cared for Jin, but she wasn’t sure if she could ever fully trust him again. Only time would tell.

Moving Forward

As the weeks passed, the relationships slowly began to shift. The wounds were still there, but they were starting to heal—albeit slowly. The seven men continued to work hard to prove their commitment to their wives, showing up when needed, offering support, and, most importantly, being honest.

Saanvi, Sneha, and Sahana, in turn, began to open up—little by little. They still had their doubts and their fears, but they were willing to give their husbands the chance to make things right.

Though the road ahead was long, it was one they were all willing to walk together.
