The warden entered the room where Sophie was restrained. He removed her shoes and socks and placed them on the floor beside him. On the outside she remained defiant but on the inside she was anxious. "Do you want to apologise now or do I have to make you apologise?" He asks. She refuses to answer. "The silent treatment is it? I will break that." He replied as he stroked one finger from her toes to her heels on both feet which made her feet flinch. Noticing her response, he asks "Are you ticklish?" He can see the panic in her eyes which confirms the answer.
