Behind the Hype of a Viral Girl

Chapter 3

The news was spreading around the nation that the viral girl Priya had died by suicide. The main question was why she died.

The police have arrived, and the investigation has already begun. People are speculating about why she died. Some say she died due to a breakup; some say she wanted hype because she was rude to fans and begging to be left alone at that time. Then she struggles to get fame. Some say she is fine and alive, doing it for fame. Some content creators and viral personalities were worried about Priya's death, while others questioned why there was so much hype about a girl who died.

But Ram was sitting in a corner, crying, saying, "Why God, why do you always do this to me? How much pain do you want to give me? First, you took away my wife and daughter's lives. Then I thought you tried to put some cream on my broken heart by sending Priya into my life as a daughter. But you took her life. Why God, I am asking you."

An officer in his mid-twenties saw him and tried to support him. The officer approached Ram and said, "Sir, can you wake up and move your hand?" Ram looked at the officer and saw his hand. Ram grabbed the officer's hand for support to get up.

Then Ram slowly got up with the support of the officer's hand. The officer said, "Can I ask you something, sir? It will help us with the investigation." Ram slowly turned his face to the officer. The officer said, "OK, let's start with the introduction. Let me introduce myself. My name is Inspector Gyan. I am handling Priya's case. Please feel comfortable so we can understand why Priya committed suicide."

Ram just looked at the officer's face and said, "You, I know you. You were handling the case of that accident where my daughter and wife died. You didn't even give me a valid reason why that accident happened."

Ram looked around and asked, "Where are they, your seniors, who said they would give me a valid reason for my wife and daughter? He is not here. Oh, he is in the AC office, sitting on a luxurious sofa, living a luxurious life."

Gyan remembered a flashback when he was just a sub-inspector. He was behind a senior officer, and nearby there was a girl. He remembered the words his senior officer said. He said he would provide justice at any cost to those who died in that accident. He also remembered some horrifying scenes.

Suddenly, Gyan's eyes turned red, and his face turned red, as if he were remembering some horrifying scenes. But suddenly, Ram's words, who was scolding Gyan, brought him back to the present. Then Gyan called his junior officer to take Ram's interrogation., asking about the relationship between Ram and Priya, how they met, and other personal details.

Ram was still scolding Gyan, but the junior officer took Ram to a room to ask some questions.

Gyan got out of the house. The public was surrounding the house with media. Then the media suddenly surrounded Gyan. The news media asked questions like, "Have you found any lead on why Priya committed suicide? What is the relationship between Priya and Ram? Were they in a relationship or something else, sir?"

Gyan said, "We are still investigating the case. We need time. We need to make a way so we can carry the body for a postmortem. Only then can we say if it was suicide or murder? OK, so please leave the way." Then some police officers pushed the public back to make a route for the ambulance with Priya's body.

The ambulance was on its way to the hospital, and Inspector Gyan followed the ambulance with his jeep. After a few minutes, they reached the hospital. There was a crowd at the main gate, so the police had to enter through another gate.

Inspector Gyan waited outside the postmortem room. After a few minutes, he received a call. The junior officer reported that questioning Ram had been finished. Gyan said to bring the answers to the office. Then he cut the phone.

Suddenly, a nurse called the inspector to the postmortem room. The doctor explained that Priya had been taking depression drugs for a long time, about 4-5 years. The condition of the rope and the marks on her neck indicated that it was clearly suicide. The doctor, looking at the dead body's eyes, said, "I think she was in the last stage of depression. She could not control her mental condition, so it happened. So, case solved, officer."

Gyan said, "I think so. I am waiting for the final report. How long does it take to get a proper report?" The doctor smiled and said, "It will come within 24 hours, officer. Can't believe that this type of girl died by suicide, right, officer?"

Gyan replied, "Yes, sir." The doctor looked at his watch and said, "Well, officer, it is time for me to leave."

Gyan said, "OK, doctor, have a great day."

Then the doctor left the room. Gyan also left the room and called his senior officer. "Sir, the case is almost solved. The investigation proves that it was a suicide due to depression."

On the other side of the phone, the senior officer replied, "OK, then let's do a press meet and say it was suicide due to depression because she was not getting enough fame."

Gyan tried to reply, "Sir, the investigation has not finished yet. We need to hear the answers about the relationship between Ram and Priya."

The senior officer got angry and said, "Do you want to write a book on this topic, officer? We all know that she needed fame but could not get it and died. What else? If you want to write a book, then I am not going to help you. Inspector Gyan, come to my office, and we will do a press release now. OK?"
