HI
The evening sun cast a warm glow over the rooftop terrace where the auction party was in full swing. The auction ended a few minutes back and now laughter and chatter filled the air as guests mingled, their voices mixing with the soft clinking of glasses.
"Did you see how excited the kids were about the cake?" one guest remarked, a smile spreading across his face.
"Yeah, it's always heartwarming to see them so happy," replied another, taking a sip of wine. "It reminds us why we're here."
Jeongguk stood with his business associates, surveying the scene.
Jeongguk's presence commanded attention. Dressed sharply in a tailored suit, he exuded a blend of confidence and warmth. His posture was relaxed yet assertive, a subtle reminder of his influence in the room. As he engaged with his business associates, there was an air of respect that surrounded him; they leaned in when he spoke, eager to hear his insights.
"We raised nice fundings last year," Dong-yeon said as Jeongguk adjusted his cufflinks.
"Let's hope we can top it this time," Jeongguk replied, glancing over the edge. "But the focus needs to be on those kids. They're the reason we're doing this."
------------
Meanwhile, inside, the children crowded around a large cake, their eyes wide with anticipation. "Can we cut it now? Please?" a little girl pleaded, bouncing on her toes.
"Just wait a bit, sweetie! We need to sing first!" Taehyung chimed in, kneeling down to their eye level. He smiled brightly, his joy contagious.
Kangmin and woo young also came inside.
"Happy birthday to us!" the kids chanted, giggling as they held their hands together, ready to blow out the candles.
Once the cake was cut, dong yeon with the bodyguards stepped in. All of them bowed at Taehyung who bowed back smiling.
Wooyoung made a face looking at dong-yeon who ignored his presence precisely.
"Alright, everyone! Time for some fun on the terrace!" Dong-yeon announced, ushering the kids toward the staircase.
They followed with bodyguards around all of them.
"Can we play games up there?" a boy shouted, his face lighting up.
"Absolutely! And there's ice cream, too!" Taehyung replied, guiding them with a reassuring smile.
Taehyung with his friends followed the kids, laughing as they dashed up the stairs. Woo-young dashed out first with the kids.
"I'll make sure they don't get into too much trouble!" He called back over his shoulder to dong-yeon who nodded.

Back on the terrace, Jeongguk turned to his associates. "We need to strengthen our ties with the local businesses. They helped a lot in boosting our fundraising efforts today."
"Agreed," one of the associates, Park Chanyeol said, nodding.
"But let's not forget to keep the focus on the NGO's mission. The community needs to see the impact."
"Absolutely," Chanyeol replied, gazing thoughtfully at the gathering below..."It's about building a future for those kids. The more we raise, the more we can help. And we are really honoured that every year your family decides to do this."
Jeongguk nodded.
As laughter echoed from the stairs indicating they are coming, Jeongguk couldn't help but smile.
