Chapter 3

HI

Taehyung's POV:

Everyone was enjoying themselves at the after-party not minding the bridal swap that just happened. I am standing in the side while watching the couples dancing and business partners chatting. Fiddling my fingers, I glanced at the ring adorned on my ring finger. It was not supposed to be there but I am married now, I'm married to my eonnie's fiancee. And my husband, he's nowhere to be seen since we stood at the altar together. I don't even know his name properly ..everything is getting so hard to process. 

''Tae, here.''

Namjoon Hyung forwarded me a glass of orange juice which I certainly do not want to drink but I don't want Hyung to be worried more than he already was so I took it silently. I'm habituated by now but I definitely didn't expect that papa would do something like this. 

''Tae, bun I'm sorry-

''No hyungie, It's not your fault . My life is like this , I'm fated to be hurt.'' 

''Don't say that bun. It breaks my heart. I failed as a big brother.''

''No-o, I-''

My voice betrayed me and tears flowed again and I couldn't do anything about it. Hyung looked at me sighing and held my hands in his as assurance. 

''Pardon me, sir .''

A voice interrupted us . He was a man in his 20s cladded in a grey suit with a polite smile . He bowed in front of me and then bowed to Namjoon hyung who politely mirrored back. I looked at the man with confused questioning eyes.

''Kwak Dong-Yeon, Jeon Sir's assistant . He told us to inform you, he won't be able to attend the after-party today. He sent his apologies. ''

NO ONE'S POV:

To say that taehyung was shocked was an understatement. His newly wedded husband, whose face he didn't even see properly sent an apology to his swapped bride for not attending their wedding after-party. 

Namjoon stared at the man in front of him, dong-yeon, for a full minute before glancing at taehyung. He was surprised too.

''Where did he went off to ?'' , Namjoon broke the silence and decided to ask the question. He was actually looking forward to have a small talk with Jeon Jeongguk after the wedding .He wanted to make sure taehyung is not to be treated badly.

''He had to fly to the States. We got a call just before the wedding.''

It's not hidden that Golden Enterprises is a renowned name abroad too. The newly made CEO often has to travel himself to deal with the branch launches abroad. 

The assistant wasn't even lifting his eyes to look at taehyung directly. It's not like taehyung wanted him to, but it was getting awkward considering this is the first time someone sent his apologies to him. 

The assistant took his place behind Taehyung , standing at a distance keeping his eyes at the surroundings . 

Taehyung became nervous. What does this mean ? Why would he sent his assistant like this? Not even 4 hours to the marriage and taehyung is scared, too scared. He gulped the lump that's starting to form in his throat again, he's happy for his eonnie ..but why god played this dirty game with him? For him, marriage is a pure journey that binds the soul of two persons together for life, even for 7 lives . That's what his Eomma told him, that's what he believed. But now? What's he going to do?

Namjoon looked at taehyung as well. How to undo the previous 8 hours ?, he thought. What's going to happen now? 

Both the brothers were lost as person came forward and forwarded his hand towards taehyung who looked up a little to find his Father-in-law, Jeon Hyun-bin standing in front of him. 

''May this old man have your first dance, son?''

Taehyung looked up surprised but then got scared and clutched Namjoon's hands who pressed his own hands upon him assuringly. Namjoon politely smiled at the elder, who smiled back and nodded his head giving Namjoon an assurance. Namjoon turned towards his younger brother and shook his head positively and the younger in turn hesitantly left Namjoon's hand and gave his hand to the elder. 

On the dance floor: 

Taehyung was hesitantly taking dance steps and Hyun-bin was slowly matching him trying to make him comfortable. 

''Son, Forgive us . I know you didn't want this. ''

Taehyung snapped his head up at the man . What on the earth is he hearing? Did the richest businessman of Korea just apologized to him? 

The elder smiled at him. 

''When we got the news that Ji-soo went away and your father presented your proposal to us we agreed knowing it's the best for us.''

Taehyung looked down upon the mention of his eonnie. They despise her and now they are going to despise him too.

''Don't worry, son. We forgive her. After all, whatever she did was for love. ''..........''I know what you're thinking son but keep it in mind ...sometimes, the wrong train takes you to the right station. ''
