Dante POV
What is taking Zenon so long? He should have been here by now.
"This is unusual that Zenons late" Vanica giggles before plopping herself down onto the couch. "Yes it certainly is." I hummed. "Knowing him, he probably is either dead," she says. "Or, he's found something" a wide grin spreads on her face. A can feel a grin spreads across my own.
"You're right, Vanica. He must have found something" my grin widens. "Or someone.".
Asta POV
"Mmmhh". I slowly open my eyes and see I'm in a room I don't know. I try to move, but immediately a horrible pain goes throughout my body, causing tears to well up in my eyes.
"I wouldn't move if I were you" someone says, and I look over to see a man, maybe 20-25 years old. I slowly sit up on the bed to look at him. "W-where am I?" I croak. "He looks at me with a blank expression on his face. "Your in the Spade kingdom." He says while gesturing around the room.
"Why am I in the Spade-" all my memories of what happened then hit me like a cart. " O-oh, right" I stutter. My hands fist together as I think about what happened. How could they do that to me? My fists grew tighter and tighter, until they started to bleed.
"You sure seem mad about something." the man says. He almost seems amused that I'm so angry right now. I look at him again, my teeth clenching together. "Who are you?" I say with the blankest expression I can muster. Right now, I want to sob in the pillow while also beating it to a bloody pulp. The mans smirk widens. "That's not important." he says. "What is," he pulls out my grimoire, seemingly out of thin air. "Is what your devil power is.".
