Forgiveness... Or Revenge? (Black Clover-Asta Story)

Clover Kingdom: Where's his body?

Hey so I just came up with this idea in my head and I decided to write it out. I love y'all and thnxs so much for responding to my questions!!

(Its been about two weeks since the situation at the black bulls happened)

Yuno POV

I rolled my eyes as I stood in the large room, all the other magic knights around me, chattering uneasily. The captains stood on the stage, talking amongst themselves quietly with the group who went on 'Mission Kill' or, as I like to call it, finding Asta's dead and rotting corpse. I chuckle to myself a little. I mean, with the injuries I gave him, he'd have to be superhuman to survive that.

I chuckled slightly at the thought. He deserved what had happened to him. He killed so many people, for what? Fun? I can feel my fists clench at the thought. He was fooling us, fooling us all with his charming and energetic personality, making us believe he was some angel.

But he was really just a fucked up sociopathic monster. 

"Ahem, if we could have your attention please," Captain Rill states. The room immediately goes silent. He clears his throat before continuing. 

"As you all know, after the... Asta situation,  we sent a group of our best magic knights to track him down and capture him to be held trial.". His face pales, almost not wanting to say what happened of the mission. I can feel myself go cold at that. Why would he be so nervous?

Thousands of possibilities on what happened bang inside my head. Did Asta kill all of the magic knights sent after him? I glance at the stage again. No, that couldn't be it. I can see them all on the stage. So, what happened?

"It's best if I leave it to the magic knights who went to explain." he states before gesturing towards one of them. The person steps in front. I don't remember what his name was, Mikelen? Whatever, it doesn't matter.

He's visibly sweating, clearly very nervous. "So, uhm, me and my team starting tracking him by uhh..." he clears his throat. "Following his trail of blood. It went all the way into the Spade kingdom before, uhm, stopping." his hands start to shake. "At the end was a huge pool of blood, signifying that he must have finally not been able to go on at that point." He looks like he's about to throw up. "I-in the pool of blood, was, some of his hair strands, a-and, chunks of flesh." he gagged a little. "The largest piece, almost skinned off was stabbed into the ground with a, a, sharp piece of bone.".

I can feel my blood run cold. W-what? What the hell?

"We checked around the area, but could not find his body. We were going to venture into Spade kingdom to see if they know anything, but whenever we tried, we were immediately threatened to be executed unless we leaved." he finishes before shakily walking away from the front of the stage.

Immediately,  whispers broke out around me. "What the hell?" "Do you think the monsters still alive?" "Hopefully Asta died." "Where do you think he is?" 

What the hell did that? Or, who the hell did that? 

Captain Vangeance steps towards the front of the stage instead of Captain Rill this time. "Quiet down everyone." he states. The room goes silent. "Please do not panic about this information, we will find Asta dead or alive so he can be brought to trial and executed or burned for his crimes.". The captain speaks all this information with a blank face, but I know deep down he's raging about Asta's betrayal. 

Everyone is. Everyone wants him to pay the Clover kingdoms sorrow with his blood.

"That is the end of this meeting. If you think you may know where he may be let us know." and with that, all the captains and 'Mission Kill' members exit the stage, walking off with heavy footsteps. 

Everyone stays silent for a moment or two before the room bursts into loud talking and uneasy whispers. I keep a blank face and start to exit the room whenever I feel a sharp tug on my clothes. 

I look behind me to see Noelle Silva, her expression grim, not looking me in the eyes. "Hey, can we talk?" she askes. "About what?".

She finally meets my eyes. She only says one word. But it makes my stomach clench and my blood turn to ice.

"Asta"
