Jesse only hated one thing more than being restrained
He absolutely
Positively
Hated his name
His middle name to be more precise
Oscar…
He was named after his father’s cousin
and he hated his father’s cousin
He could see a mask
Hiding something ugly underneath
he imagined a rotting
and fleshy monster
His father,
the poor soul, may he rest in peace
(Or pieces depending on the person)
Never saw who he truly was
He had been fooled
Although he doesn’t like to think of it
Oscar and his father were very similar
Of course they would be, they grew up in the same house
After Jesse’s grandfather died
when his father was a young boy
His grandmother moved in with her brother
His father had always been so controlling
That didn’t give him any forgiveness
But… it explained
And now that his father was dead
The company would no doubt go to him
it didn’t matter how much he conveyed that he didn’t want it
His father never quite understood
Never listened
One problem was that it was a computer company
He wasn’t really a technology person
Second problem was that it was a company
Jesse, if he could help it, would travel
And he can help it, so he will
But he needs to come up with a plan
He would rather die, wait, bad choice of words
He would rather actually run the company
Than hand it over to Oscar
He has seen that man drool in the mouth
Over running that company
There’s no telling what he’s do with it
Even though his relationship with his father
Was strained, he had always respected the amount of work
That he had put into the building
Though he didn’t
and never would understand it
It was complicated
He had a plan though
This company would lay in good hands
And the hands did not belong to him,
There was someone out there
Who could take care of the company much better than he ever could
And that was his precious baby sister
