"Class, time for lunch, let's go line up!"
The kids gleamed, stopping what they were doing immediately, and ran outside to line up. The teacher led them to the cafeteria as laughter and voices were overheard. Some wouldn't mind the noise, but there were 2 in particular who despised it.
The kids were in warm clothes for the fall weather had gone down and started turning colder by the day.
A young girl had her turn to get food and her group waited for her as she chose from the options of lunch and got her plate to join her group and before she could turn to sit she bumped into another kid. Spilling some pasta on the boy's shirt and realizing her mistake.
Everyone nearby whispered as the caftertia nearly went quiet for the first time, and her friends looked away but eyed the boys face instead of hers.
"Sorry, sorry, forgive me, here!" She looked frantically for a napkin and got one to give to the boy, but he easily refused it, hitting her hand out his face and shoving her to leave.
"Leave me alone, I don't want whatever disgusting thing you give me." His face full of no care but anger for being all dirty.
Staff followed him to stop him from going out in the cold, but he gave them glares. They shut their mouths and let him leave to wherever he was going.
The girl was left hurt and confused before feeling tears filling her eyes from the humiliation. looking his way, her eyes were full of hate toward the little boy. He could've said "it's okay" or "thank you for the napkin." However, he hit her hand. She had enough of people pushing her around like some little bug in the air, and that was their first ever encounter.
She stayed hurt while he left angry. This was only the start of their hateful relationship.
