The Vampire Republic Constitution

The Vampire Republic of Vladreath, have created this constitution to bring alignment to the clans of Draculara. We want to establish equity, virtue, and serenity within the walls of this realm. We stand these rights and regulations to ensure the safety of our brethren whether they are born, turned, or hybrid. You are protected under these procedures.

Article I.

Section I.

All powers will ensure a parliament within the Vampire Republic Vatican is full of representatives for a counsel to bring equal justice amongst all vampires.

The Vampire Vatican shall be composed of Members chosen every 25 years by the public. The counsel will consist of twelve representatives of the twelve colonies of Draculara: Dracure, Drunsdale, Vladreath, Carmiere, Akasharin, Magnumere, Selearis, Alaredeen, Ravington, Bellaetier, Beckinsale, and Aramore. Two of these representatives must be turned and two must be hybrid, all others shall always be born. No representative shall be under the age of 75 years. They shall not be chosen as representatives more than twice to ensure that we remain vigilant and evolving within the times of our brethren, magic, and technology.

Section II.

All taxes must be separated equally amongst the 12 colonies at the end of each year and collected by these representatives and their trusted assistants. All representatives and assistants must condone an extensive background check and be free of all crimes to be elected. If a representative or assistant is found guilty after being elected, they will be defined a traitor and be executed or imprisoned for 100 years, depending on the severity of their crime(s). The vacancies of these representatives and assistants will then be replaced the following month and chosen by the colony of said open space.

The times, places, and manner of holding these elections for representatives shall be prescribed by the higher clan of each colony at the colony's Hall of Higher Magnitude. There will be a week from when the voting boxes will be open and closed, then the following week the elected representative will be revealed.

Each representative has one month to prove to their colony that they are a great fit for this role and provide the vampires with their chosen assistants. They must swear to Dracula himself to protect the colony, all colonies, and the realm of Draculara for their 25 year reign as a representative, upon refusal, they will be disqualified.

Section III.

That representative, their assistants, and the higher clan of each colony will remain in constant contact to ensure laws and regulations are being followed, to provide information of newfound criminals, marriages, and populations of the vampireborn, vampireturned, and the hybrids.

Article II.

Section I.

The class levels of society shall be as written: Vampireborn of nobility status, Vampireturned of merchant status, and Hybrids of Laborers status. Vampireborn must not mate with Vampireturned nor Hybrids. Vampireturned must not mate with Vampireborn nor Hybrids. Hybrids must not mate with Vampireborn nor Vampireturned.

Section II.

Male vampires hold the reign of the household and the women of their clan. The patriarch protects, guides, and ensures their clan remains vigilant and generational. The patriarchs arrange marriages for their offspring amongst another clan within their respected class upon a contract between both patriarchs of the respective parties. Female vampires are the property of their patriarch until married off and then become property of their mate. If their mate parishes, the female vampire returns to their father or oldest male of their clan.

Amongst the possibility of The Sacred Blood Ceremony is taken, then if the mate parishes, the female vampire remains in the home of their mate and is granted the matriarch title, widowed, until they parish. The Sacred Blood Ceremony mated vampires of all classes are protected underneath the vatican by the highest protection. If one should be harmed by another vampire that is not of their bond, they are damned to execution provided by one or the other mate, depending on the status of both partners.

Section III.

All genders may work to ensure their clans remain healthy, fed, and educated, though all coin remains under the patriarchs control, from now and then on until this constitution is eradicated or changed by King Dracula or his clan.
