Izuku Midoriya. He hasn't ever had a good life. Hes never complained once. Just went with it. First, when he was 2 he was diagnosed with ASD (Autism spectrum disorder). His mother hated him for it. Then when he was 4, his dreams were shattered, he was diagnosed quirkless.
Again, he just went with it. He was six when someone finally noticed the abuse he was receiving. He was put into the foster system without a thought.
He went with it. He went through 12 home before he got to a memorable one. He was 13 years old closed off from everyone. Rarely talked. Aizawa took him in immediately loving him. He was nice. too nice. It was terrifying.
Izuku again, refused to open up. One day he had a meltdown. Aizawa found him and hugged him. No one had ever hugged him. It was nice. The first good thing to ever happen to him.
A few months pass Izuku slowly opening up more and more trusting Aizawa. Until one day, he coughed at dinner, except there was blood. That's not normal he thought staring at it.
"Izuku..okay bud, we are gonna get you to the doctors, please I know you hate it there, but I'll take you to recovery girl. We need to go." Aizawa says with fear in his voice.
Izuku mustered a nod and they went to UA to recovery girl.
"He has Leukemia. Cancer of the bone marrow, its treatable." she says.
Aizawa looks scared. Izuku as always just nods along with it.
Months pass quickly Izuku's condition only going down. He was now skinny, hairless, and weak. Izuku went with it. Aizawa stuck by his side longer than anyone ever had. He checked with Izuku before every bit. The two became best friends of sorts.
Aizawa had adopted Izuku. He wasn't a father figure though, they were best friends. Izuku was happy, despite the fact he was currently dying, his mother finally got arrested, put on death row.
Izuku was happy. Life wasn't that great, but he was grateful.
Izuku's condition only gets worse as months pass, he was officially on his death bed and he knew it. Aizawa was still there. He was still happy.
Eventually he's put on life support fully ready to die. Aizawa stays with him for his final days. He hugged him a final time before he flat lined.
Weeks pass Aizawa mourning Izuku's death, planning a proper funeral. He invites the Bakugo's, and recovery girl, and all the others who ever helped Izuku.
His speech was, "We are all gathered here today to mourn the death and celebrate the life of Izuku Midoriya-Aizawa. He wasn't loved by many at all. Heck, he told me himself he hated himself for everyone else along side them. He wanted that love he deserved it. I am Shota Aizawa and pro hero Eraserhead, Izuku Midoriya's first and only ever true friend. I am the one who gave him the care, the love, that no one else but the ones here have done as well." Shota inhales deeply, god he hated this type of thing, he was only doing this for Izuku.
"I- no we will make sure Izuku gets remembered, not only as a member of the quirkless comunity, but as someone who went up against illness, not any but cancer. He always made sure everyone was okay before him, even when he was on chemo. I will miss him, not just me though, all of us will, except we all know that he is currently smiling down at us from heaven." Shota bows before stepping away from the front of the miniature crowd.
"I am Masaru Bakugo, the man Izuku looked up to when he was little. He always was so into what I was doing when my wife babysat him. He was a sweet kid. I didn't care about his quirk status, I miss him. I do wish we all could've seen him become a here, he would've taken the world by storm. I hope we can all remember Izuku, but instead of crying, remembering the great times we've all had with him." Masaru bows and steps away, all of us ready to spread his ashes, and place his grave stone.
We all agreed to spread his ashes, well some of them, in his safe place, my backyard. We also all decided to place his headstone in my backyard too.
