Plot

Theme: Reflection.

Life is always in constant change.

During a lifetime, changes are always present. Either expected or unexpected, for the best or the worst. Thing is: It always will happen because life wasn't created or designed to be predictable and so many people could attest to that.

As change goes, there will be some that could even make your entire life, personality or even yourself go from one thing to another, just to show the sheer difference it has compared to the one from before.

Like: What would happen if someone experienced such a rude change to their lifestyle?

Time to find out...

Meet Y/N Hiden, the youngest child of Aruto Hiden and his wife as well as the brother of Haruto and Minato Hiden, the oldest and middle child respectively.
After Aruto and his friends dealt with the threat of Ark, Eden/Lucifer and others as the Zero-One Kamen Riders. Hiden Int, A.I.M.S, Zaia Inc, Thousand Network and MetsubouJinrai could focus on their own normal duties.
But even so, they still had to deal with the dangerous forces of the Noise: Dangerous being that could turn every living being into ash, so to keep fighting, the Kamen Riders struck an alliance with S.O.N.G, an international government organization that was created purely to deal with the Noise. Along with the Symphogear Candidates who used Relics, the Kamen Riders fought valiantly each day to ensure those monsters would make victims out of humans or humagears.

That of course didn't stop them from finding love: Isamu and Yua fell in love with each other and were married after and Aruto found a lovely woman who he also married, the two couples forming families and getting kids of their own: Mamoru and Yui Fuwa and Haruto, Minato and Y/N Hiden.

Compared to his brothers who were born geniuses, bright and sociable, Y/N was reclusive, a bit weak and awkward all the time but still he sought his family's attention as any other child but his parents either were too busy with their jobs and being Kamen Rider or since Haruto and Minato stood out the most, his parents paid more attention to them.
To see how his brothers hogged his parent's attention hurt little Y/N, because no matter how hard he tried to catch their eyes as well, in the end it didn't even matter.

Not everything was sadness for little Y/N, there was someone who took notice of him and always made sure to spend time with him: Izu, Aruto's humagear secretary and occasional Kamen Rider, but even so, Y/N's life was filled with sadness...

And soon, it would become worse.

One time, the Hiden Family went out on a little trip around Japan: Visiting places, enjoying the different cultures, etc...
Y/N was with them but as expected, he was ignored by his family so he was a little dejected. The little trip ended and so the Hiden Family had to return to their home, but they ended forgetting to take Y/N with them and since Izu wasn't there, he was left behind and far from home.
Y/N was distraught after knowing he was alone and searched everywhere for his family, not finding them anywhere as they already left, so he just accepted the fact that they wouldn't return to pick him up and cried where he stood, full of grief at being invisible to his family and he was so caught up in his feelings that he didn't notice a group of men in uniforms come onto him and knocking him out and taking him with them.

It wasn't a short time when the mother noticed that someone was missing after she saw that their table had one extra seat and the house had more dishes than they thought they had. After asking Izu about it she finally remembered Y/N and panicked because she neglected one of her sons, eventually Aruto and the other sons found out as well and also panicked: They lost Y/N!
Soon they made a wide search, hoping to either find news about their lost family member or find him directly, but it all for naught, they never found him...

And he was only 8 years old when he was kidnapped.

The men who took Y/N were members of a secret criminal organization by the name of Nova Shocker. They hated the Kamen Riders because they always got in their way of world conquering and after many tries and defeats they decided to hide away and secretly build up power so they could return and finally accomplish their goals without any heroes in their way.
They built power in the forms of many monsters and Magias for their army and even if that wasn't enough, they also had planned to create their trump card to triumph over the Riders: Their own Dark Rider.

For his creation, Nova Shocker stole many Driver blueprints, the prototype Zero-One Driver as well as the remains of the Ark satellite, they also sent spies to scout for potential experiment subjects to use for their army and Rider and just so happens that they found Y/N, alone and seemingly abandoned. They recognized him of course, who would be a better candidate than the spawn of a Kamen Rider?
After they kidnapped Y/N they started their plans, using their experiments and advanced technology to transform and condition him into their cyborg weapon.

15 years passed and the Hiden Family still searched for Y/N, with the help of their friends and allies too, not knowing that Y/N was nearer than they thought. Y/N was now 23 years old and throughout his stay at Nova Shocker he had to deal with gruelling training, forced  conditioning and painful experiments that replaced the majority of his biological parts with bio-mechanical ones. As he went through it all Y/N always asked himself why? Why did he struggle and pushed himself further to not break? Why he didn't just... let go?
Nova Shocker was eager and getting ready to unleash their plans and commence their goal of word domination and with the monsters, Magias and monsters, there wouldn't be anybody to stop them!

And that's when it hit Y/N:

He remembered all the things he went through: The anguish, suffering, loneliness and utter pain, the training he endured, the conditionings he pushed through and the experiments! He remembered why!
It's because he wouldn't break nor would he bow to their malicious will! After all the suffering he went before and after, he wouldn't be like that again! Not for them or ANYBODY!
And so the flame of defiance lit up inside Y/N's chest.

Then Nova Shocker committed a mistake: They dropped their guard around Y/N and he took advantage of it, he attacked them all of a sudden and decimated them easily: Scientists, drones, Magias, monsters, etc... All of them perished by Y/N's hands as he transformed into his twisted Rider form, destroying the Nova Shocker base he was at, only after taking the weapons it housed and leaving.

But Y/N knew that he only destroyed a part of Nova Shocker because they had more bases and more forces around the world and so Y/N adopted his new goal: To destroy all of Nova Shocker and carve his name on their defeat.

He is Kamen Rider Zero, and all would end...
