Pretty could never unsee that image in her mind. It hunted her for countless nights. Even thinking about it drove so much pain in her heart. Her father, brutally killed with the man she used to worship in front of her, and she couldn’t do anything about it but just watch. She was there but she was helpless to do anything. If only she was faster or if she made a different choice that time, she could have prevented that from happening. She blamed herself for it. But she blamed the guy in front of her more.

He did not know that while he was brutally killing his brother, she was just a few meters away, invisible and unable to move. She was there when her father’s head fell to the ground. She was still there, when her father’s headless body continued to spill blood on the floor she was kneeling, incapable of moving or even protecting his dead body. She kneeled there, staring at it for 37 minutes, her tears falling endlessly.

She was there when they cleaned the room and removed his body. She was there watching when they stuffed his body in a dirty barrel unceremoniously, and with utter disrespect.

She wasn’t able to do anything no matter how much she begged and shouted in her head. But no voice could come out of her mouth. She couldn’t even cry out loud. She witnessed it all. She was there unmoving when they cleaned the room and erased anything about the event. Just like that, they erased the only person who ever loved her unconditionally in this world.

For all the power and abilities that she has, it did not do anything to save the person she cared for.

That was months ago, a lot of things had already happened and the pain and loss that she felt inside her had already turned into anger. How she wished she could blow this man to pieces but she knew that it was not enough for her. She had so much anger inside her. She wanted him to suffer, she wanted him to lose everything that he held dearly.

“Quit acting already you vile bastard. You sickened me,” she finally replied. With determination in her eyes, she took a deep breath and at the moment she released that breath, a solemn decision was made in her mind. If she’s to die then she’ll take him with her.

Simultaneously, both of her hands flashed dimly and two items appeared in her hands, a gas mask and a special type of gas grenade.

She slapped the gas mask on her face and threw the gas grenade below her. The grenade broke off in six directions releasing thick lines of white gas as they passed.

Within seconds white smoke bellowed all around her.

Hidden from the view, she took an electric saw and sawed through the net covering her. The electric saw was shaped like a huge elongated knife where a thin electric line was wedged into the saw’s teeth. It was a modified saw that has an option to melt plastic and even glass metal. The net was made of synthetic fibers so she sawed through it easily.

It only took her 5 seconds to do all this and she was out of the net. She took a handful of the normal type of tear gas canister and threw it around her.

The front of the Medhall had now been covered by white smoke completely. Despite the lack of visibility, she could hear the footsteps of Summit soldiers converging to her location from all sides.

She did not panic and waited for them to come nearer.

When she felt they were just a few meters from where she was, her hand flashed and four electric bombs appeared in it. She pressed some buttons and chose the “WIDE ARC” option, and threw them towards the direction of the voices. One at the front, one to her right and two to her left.

A crackle of electricity was heard, and then she heard gasps of people being electrocuted and the sound of bodies crumpling down on the floor. Without wasting time, she immediately went forward and after a few meters she saw silhouettes of Summit soldiers lying on the floor, some were passed out and some were groaning. They would probably be okay after a few minutes.
