I wanted a rose
Allah gave me a dozen
I wanted a river
Allah gave me the ocean.
My plans are only a minute
Compared to HIS, The Magnificent
For Allah Alone knows best
After all, HE is The Omniscient.
I cried much in the past
Thinking how happiness do not last
I thought I'm the most unfortunate one
Until I started praying for The One.
The One Who owns my soul
The One Who's Most Powerful.
Then my life turned a new leaf
Bliss on earth was what I felt.
And I have been blessed in multitude ways
Allah made me savour His Unique Grace.
Hence, I could not ask for more
I thank HIM for redirecting my course.
So if you see your plans not happening
Just know Allah's Plans for you are more wondrous and beautiful.
