Raven pov

Have you ever wanted someone you couldn't have? I sure did but being a werewolf in a human world where everyone is fake, sweet, or evil is something else.

I really thought vampires were evil, the worst of the worst but even when I met Maya I didn't feel scared. I felt safe. Something inside of me wanted to know more, feel more.

I know I was stupid for saying such a thing or maybe she was being fake to suck out the blood or use me but she didn't.

She hasn't yet at least I pushed myself out to get to know her more even if it felt weird with all of the saying about vampires all through my life I shouldn't even be talking to her but I want to.

So here I am in her car with some ice cream as we just talked. We met there and we just started talking. The tense air was more free.

She paid for my ice cream as I tried to give her some money “stop it now or else I'm throwing that out the window" Maya said, crossing her eyes as I just nodded “thanks, have a bite through?" I asked.

“I only came here for human blood” she said as I pouted "oh right” I said, she grabbed my hand “don't be a pouty wolf now" she said, I felt my cheeks get more red as I nodded.

"I'm not a pouty wolf," I said softly. She looked at me for a bit, "pouty wolf” she said more slowly as I rolled my eyes and continued to eat my ice cream as she watched me.

Her hand was still in mine. We didn't say anything much as we just stayed quiet this time. This quiet didn't feel weird, it felt nice.

“Are you sure you don't want a bite I don't mind sharing?" I asked, she rolled her eyes, “You're not going to stop, are you Rav?" She asked as I pushed my ice cream to her mouth.

She took a small lick "not bad” she said as she took a big bite as I quickly pulled away "hey at least save me some" I pout.

“You pout a lot you know" she said, her mouth full I rolled my eyes as I wiped a small bit of chocolate from the corner of her mouth. Her lips were smooth and soft.

I wonder how they taste?

She grabbed my hand “wolfy don't look at me like that" she whispered it took me a second before I looked away and went back to eating my ice cream.
