No one's POV (25th December 2018)(Mumbai, Maharashtra,6:30 pm)
Ishan let out a sigh as he finished his packing he actually thought he only brought few clothes for his 5 days stay but after the struggle he went through to pack his clothes confirmed him that he brought the whole closet of his from Mihan.
"Ishu are you done with the packing?" his brother asked him from the living room "yes bhaiya" ishan said to him and walked towards the living room.
He sat on the couch and looked at all the boxes which are filled with their things "when will you leave for Melbourne bhaiya?" ishan asked his brother after hearing his question his brother stopped typing on the laptop's keyboard.
"31st early morning" he said to him with a smile on his face "ishu what's in your mind?" he asked sensing his little brother's distressness, Ishan hesitated to tell his brother.
"baccha , you can share anything with me" he said shutting off his laptop, giving his whole attention to his brother "siddu bhaiya..." ishan went silent saying his brother name.
His brother looked at him with a warm "bolo na baccha" his brother encouraged him to tell "will you sell this flat?" ishan asked his brother.
"And why are you thinking like that?" Siddhanshasked his brother "It's that you will be leaving for Melbourne while I am studying in Mihan and I won't come here for vacation if you are not here and you also won't come as you would be busy with new branch ." ishan stopped feeling the lump forming in his throat, while Siddhansh listened to his little brother's rambling.
"I won't and Ishu we both know that it's our home but without our parents memories" Siddhansh said to his brother with a soft smile on his face.
Unknowingly a tear rolled down from Siddhansh left eye "siddu bhaiya" Ishan said and immediately pulled his brother into tight hug.
"Time is flying fast . You were just 10 back then and now 18" he said with a chuckle "Dad and mom would have been so proud of you baccha" siddhansh said kissing Ishan's forehead.
"They would have been more proud of you bhaiya, seeing you taking care of me just like they would have taken care of me if they were here" Ishan said pulling out from hug.
"ok ok let's stop this and have our ice cream night" Siddhansh said "but only two scoops" when he saw his brother running to the kitchen which made ishan whine.
"you have a flight to catch early morning kid" Siddhansh said and walked into the kitchen and after having their early dinner along with ishan's favorite ice cream they went to their rooms after giving eachother a good night hug.
