CORNELIA LARUSSO was a really kind and sweet person to code. Like a literal angel. She wasn't like the other popular kids at her school — she actually seemed normal, which mostly confused the others, because the people they saw around her every day were the exact opposite of her own personality. Well, not counting her a few months older sister, Samantha, with whom she had a lot in common. She was also pretty similar to her other friend, Moon, but Yasmine? Definitely not. That was the last person she could agree with, especially since Cornelia was the type of a person anyone could talk to and Yasmine was the one, who wasn't friends with anyone who wasn't as popular as her.

More precisely; anytime Cornelia was with Yasmine, the blonde girl was making sure for the, as she called, losers not to talk to her friend or even be near her. Yasmine was the mean girl, while Cornelia was the kind one, so it was really surprising how they even became friends from the beginning.

And the girls promised each other that they would never tell that to anyone, but back in middle school, Yasmine wasn't as popular as she was now. The two girls' story started when Yasmine once helped Cornelia get the bubblegum out of her hair after some boys placed it there as an unfunny joke. Ever since then they were going through everything together, but as the high school started and Yasmine suddenly became extremely popular, Cornelia couldn't be called the girl's best friend anymore, because they were hardly talking to each other without arguing because of the difference between their own opinions. At the moment, they were more just school friends than best friends.

Cornelia let out a small sigh as she walked late into the cafeteria, her brown eyes wandered between everyone until they fell on her usual table that was already taken by her friends, which obviously meant Yasmine, her sister, and Moon. This time, though, they weren't alone at all as some other girls sat next to them. It didn't bother Cornelia until she realized that they were probably just some people that would give the blonde girl more popularity, and didn't know that Yasmine was going to act like they were friends, and then dump them in the most unexpected moment. Stupid and mean, but casual.
