Backstory
One day while Emily was at work at Seattle Grace hospital, her boss Meredith grey came up to her explaining Her father was in the emergency room having to get a risky surgery for A kidney transplant.Thinking he was going to die. He told Emily about him cheating on his first wife Mimi and has a feeling his son already knows when Emily asked What was he talking about? He explained that she had a brother and her brother was none other than Austin Moon. The famous Superstar to say Emily was surprised, was an estimate. She was more along the lines of heartbroken. And absolutely furious that her father had lied to her for years more or less her entire life to find out the man who raised her who taught her she could be anything in the world the person who helped her when she applying to med school in the first place had lied not only to her but to her mother it was like something struck her in her heart she had asked him where Austin was and he explained Austin was in Miami and he had a girlfriend who he just moved in with a girl named Ally. Emily was curious so she asked her boss Meredith for a few days off and Meredith agreed understanding what Emily is going through Haven gone through the same thing herself with her sister Lexi grey so she gave Emily a few days off as Emily took the first flight out to find and meet her younger brother.
