When I said real business I didn't mean getting married to him! For some of y'all in the underground world you might think that marrying an extremely hot Italian man with a lot of power would be like hitting a jackpot, but well for me it's the exact opposite. Horrified is an understatement for what I'm feeling to be honest, to make matters worse its a very tempting offer. Sitting across Adonis right now as he waits for my response, he's sister sitting besides me, checking my face to make sure I'm okay is even scarier. You... scared? Are you sure you're not bluffing? Oh shut up!

"We don't have all day." Adonis said rolling he's eyes. Idiot.

"What?!" I asked once again horrified. I think I have trauma. As if everyone doesn't know that already. Oh-

"You heard me, marry me and you'll get the shares you want." He said casually like it's no biggy.

"Why?" I asked.

"Didn't I just explain why?" He said irritation laced in his voice.

"No, I mean why do you want to marry me?" I asked gesturing to myself.

"Well I'm a Don and a Don needs a Donna." He shrugged.

"There are many women out there, why me?" I deadpanned.

"Stop making this difficult, this marriage won't be anything close to real." He stated. I let out an exaggerated sigh.

"I'll think about it." I said before standing up and walked over to Andre and tapped him on his shoulder since he was so engrossed in watching a movie on his phone he didn't even notice my presence.

"Let's go, Ciro." I said to him, he quickly got up and we we left the office. Lola hugged me Andre good bye and after that we left.

She's too sweet to strangers.

I don't like sweet people...

Well probably because you've been treated like shit your whole life.

Got out of the building and went for lunch, after lunch we went to an amusement park, we had fun, we bought a few things before we headed back to Adonis's pent house, once we got there Andre was tired so he went to sleep after hugging me good night. I was also tired so I took I shower and wore my night wear, after that I brushed my teeth, did my skin care and plopped myself onto the bed, I checked the time and it was already midnight.

Adonis

"Brother are you sure about all this?" Lola asked once Seirra and Andre left my room.

"Yes." I said confidently.

"I'm not going to question whatever this is, I respect you and I trust that this won't affect any of us in any way." She said.

"Don't worry sis, she's very professional, don't worry about her I heard she's vicious only when people mess with her, I guess that answers your question." I replied.

"Yeah I've heard a lot about her and the thought of my brother marrying such a person just_" I cut her off.

"Lola don't worry, it's nothing you and I can't handle... But on second thought I'd like to see for myself what she's capable of." I said smiling to myself.

"Alright suit yourself, but I like her though." She whispered, and I chuckled.

"Believe me, she's not easy to get along with. You'll have to prepare yourself mentally and physically." I warned.

"Don't underestimate me, we can bet on it, we'll get along just fine." She assured, before standing up and clutching on to her purse and I followed suit. I walked over to her and she hugged me goodbye.
