╰─ ♱ · 𓆩🤍𓆪 · ♱ ──────────╯After a few hours, your shift had ended. It was a pretty chilled out job. Turns out you had a 9-5 job for 5 days a week. Quite similar to Earth.
Currently, it was 5:30 and you were stood in front of the fountain, waiting for your dear friend to arrive. You were torn between three options: go and train right now, go and visit Azriel, or just go back to the inn. You already knew archery, but you wanted to try practicing with a polearm/spear.
You really wanted to make full use of your time before Traveler arrives and go train with a new weapon, but you didn't want to leave Azriel panicking and wondering where you went. But you ALSO did not want to enter a tavern fun of drunk man.
Well... it wouldn't hurt to just go and tell him something, right? Right.

Entering the tavern, you were immediately greeted with the sound of loud chattering and the smell of wine.
Going up to the counter as quickly as you could, you spotted Azriel frantically making a drink. More specifically, a Death After Noon as per... KAEYA'S REQUEST?! Okay, maybe coming here was a bad idea...
You tried your best to ignore Kaeya'S stare burning into your head as you tried to get the almost-pink-haired boy's attention.
He glanced up, his eyes sparkling upon making contact with your own. "Y/n!!" You waved slightly. "Hey." Azriel slid the drink over to Kaeya and turned his full focus to you. "You already finished?"
You nodded. "Yeah. I wanted to ask, how much of your shift is left?" He checks the clock at the back. "It ends at 6:30, so an hour more." You didn't know clocks existed in Genshin... either that or you're really stupid.
"Oh... I was planning to go and train but I don't want to leave you."
"Train?" Another voice interrupted. You stared at the man sat in the school next to you — Kaeya. "If it's with a sword, I might be able to help with that."
Now, you were grateful for the offer, but something about this man was awfully suspicious. Not to mention, you both were (supposedly) Khaenri'ahn.
"Thank you but... I'm learning polearm, not sword." You politely declined. "Aw, what a shame." The blue haired man sighed dramatically before taking a sip of his drink, still staring at you.
His stare was unsettling. Like... he recognised you.
Azriel looked at Kaeya blankly and turned back to you. He never really liked Kaeya that much. "I think we should go together. It's better not to split up."
"Okay." You agreed with him. "I'll go sit over there." You went ahead and took a seat on the stool in the very corner. It gave you a better view of everyone in the tavern.
"Come on Azriel, back to work." Charles gave the aforementioned boy a pat on the shoulder as he snapped out of it and switched back to work mode.
"So, young miss." Kaeya turned around to face you as you internally groaned. "I haven't seen you around here before. What's your name?" You were highly against giving your name to him, but you felt like you needed to tell him. This man can easily kill you in a second.
"Y/n." Was the basic answer you spoke.
"Y/n, hm? I figured that as much, I was simply asking for confirmation."
He already knew your name. "What...?"
"Why so shocked? Haahaha." He laughed at your surprised expression and tenseness. "I received word from the grandmaster about you and this young lad." He motioned to Azriel.
